What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(CRIMP HILL (PART), OLD WINDSOR 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF 
DRIVING) ORDER NO. 2 2024
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Crimp Hill between the boundaries of properties known as “Myrtle Cottage North” and “Myrtle Cottage South”.

The diversion route for vehicles affected by these works will be via Crimp Hill, B3021 Burfield Road, A328 Priest Hill, Ridegmead Road and Crimp Hill. 

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works, namely new gas connection works and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order shall be in operation from 08.00 hours on Tuesday 28 May until 17.00 hours on Friday 31 May 2024. 

There will be a temporary prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are duly in place to indicate the said restrictions.
