What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council
intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is
expected that the Order will come into force on 19/06/2024
and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will
be completed within the period of the Order. The works will
commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last
for up to 15 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being
enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council
& their contractors to undertake carriageway surface repair works
in the highway. An alternative diversion route will be signed on
site. During the closures, alternative routes available to all traffic
can be viewed at https://one.network.

Waltham Ln, closed for its entire length; Hose Ln, closed at the
junction for 10 metres; Stathern Ln, closed for 50 metres approx.
from the main street junction – Harby. Waltham Rd, Eastwell,
closed from the Scalford Rd junction up to the Waltham Ln,
Harby boundary.
GLEBE ROAD, WYMONDHAM
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council
intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is
expected that the Order will come into force on or about the
15/06/2024 and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The works
will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will
commence when the appropriate traffic signs are erected and last
for up to 4 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being
enforced for public safety to allow Network Rail to undertake rail
track safety inspections. The proposed diversion route will be via:
Glebe Rd, Holygate Rd, Stapleford Rd, Saxby Rd B676,
Wymondham Rd, Glebe Rd & vice versa.

The closure will be 50 metres either side of the level crossing.
LONGCLIFF HILL, OLD DALBY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council
intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is
expected that the Order will come into force on 19/06/2024
and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The works will
be completed within the period of the Order. The works will
commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may
last for up to 5 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
is being enforced for public safety to allow Truman Contractors
(East Midlands) Ltd to carry out resurfacing. The proposed
diversion route will be via: Longcliff Hill, Main Rd, Wood Hill,
Nottingham Ln, Long Cliff Hill & vice versa. During the closures,
alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed at
https://one.network.and signed on site.

junction of the Private Rd to East Lodge.
WELBY LANE, MELTON MOWBRAY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council
has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act
1984. The Order will come into force on 28/05/2024 and have
a maximum duration of 1 month. The works will be completed
within the period of the Order. The works will commence when
the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for
public safety to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake the
installation of a service connection in the highway. The proposed
diversion route will be via: Welby Ln, St Bartholomew’s Way,
Nottingham Rd (A606) & vice versa. During the closures,
alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed at
https://one.network.

Welby Ln is to be closed for 200 metres approx. due east from
the Welby Rd/Welby Ln, Melton Mowbray.
MIDDLE LANE, NETHER BROUGHTON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council
has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act
1984. The Order will come into force on 29/05/2024 and have
a maximum duration of 1 months. The works will be completed
within the period of the Order. The works will commence when
the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for
public safety to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake a service
connection for a development site. The proposed diversion route
will be: Div 1, Middle Ln to Main Rd (A60). Middle Ln, Chapel Ln,
Main Rd, one way only. Div 2, Main Rd (A606) to Middle Ln.
Main Rd (A606), Hecadeck Ln, Middle Ln, one way only. During
the closures, alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed
at https://one.network.
SCHEDULE 1

To be closed at the bottom end from the Main Rd (A606) junction
up to the access for Footpath H18.
