(PARK AVENUE, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 110) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace defective tarmac around a manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Park Avenue, Wakefield for approximately 60 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Park Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: From Denby Dale Road – Denby Dale Road, Charlesworth Way, Westgate, Westgate End, Horbury Road, Park Grove Road, Lawefield Lane, Park Avenue. From Park Avenue – Park Avenue, Lawefield Lane, Park Grove Road, Horbury Road, Westgate End, Westgate, Quebec Street, Charlesworth Way, Denby Dale Road.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 30th May 2024 between 19.00 hours and 23.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(CLIFTON DRIVE, HORBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 111) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace defective tarmac around a manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Clifton Drive, Horbury for approximately 60 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Clifton Drive.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Clifton Road, Savile Drive, Clifton Avenue & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 30th May 2024 between 09.30 hours and 13.30 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length  of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(STORRS HILL ROAD, HORBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 112) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to complete ducting works in the carriageway & footway for installation of fibre internet to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Storrs Hill Road, Horbury from Bridge Road to Bridge Close. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Storrs Hill Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Bridge Road, Quarry Hill, Highfield Road, High Street, Westfield Road, Horbury Road, Storrs Hill Road & vice versa.

Access will remain for pedestrians & access for residents will be maintained when safe to do so.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 28th May 2024 to 2nd June 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 113) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for bridge works to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Storrs Hill Road, Horbury. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Storrs Hill Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: A642, Highfield Road, High Street, Horbury Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 25th May 2024 between 06.00 hours to 18.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length  of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(GOOSEHILL LANE, WARMFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 114) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to excavate to install telecoms cable & telecoms chambers as part of the fibre to the home scheme to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Goosehill Lane, Warmfield for approximately 100 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Goosehill Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 27th May 2024 at 08.00 hours to 28th May 2024 at 17.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible

(OSSETT BYPASS, OSSETT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 115) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the  City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for litter picking, grass cutting, road sweeping and tree pruning to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Ossett Bypass, Ossett. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Ossett Bypass.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Wakefield Road & Dewsbury Road.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 30th May 2024 at 09.30 hours to 15.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(WESTFIELD ROAD, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 116) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for new supply connection to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Westfield Road, Wakefield. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Westfield Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Westfield Road, Northgate, Marsh Way, Lower York Street, Saville Street & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 28th May 2024 at 08.00 hours to 30th May 2024 at 20.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(BACK LANE, WOOLLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 117) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install new water connection to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Back Lane, Woolley for approximately 2 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Back Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Back Lane, Gypsy Lane, Woolley Edge Lane, Middlefield Lane, Back Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 28th May 2024 to 30th May 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(SANDY LANE, MIDDLESTOWN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 124) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to install pressure reducing valve to take place to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Sandy Lane, Middlestown from the junction with New Road to opposite number 3 Sandy Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Sandy Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: New Road, Sandy Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 10th June 2024 to 12th June 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(PLEDWICK LANE, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 125) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for installation of fibre ducting for high speed internet connection to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Pledwick Lane, Wakefield from Woolgreaves Drive to Woodthorpe Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Pledwick Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Woolgreaves Drive, Woodthorpe Lane & vice versa. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times & residents access maintained where possible.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 10th June 2024 to 13th June 2024 08.00 hours to 18.00 hours daily, open all other times, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
