B7031 North Side of A71 - Road Closure to Enable Junction Improvement Works to Be Carried Out
What is happening?
THE WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL (B7031/A71) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 - TTO/24/216
The Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that the roads noted in the Schedule below will be closed/subject to a temporary 30mph speed limit for the period specified to enable junction improvement works to be carried out. Traffic will be diverted as undernoted. There will 2-way temporary traffic lights in operation on the A71 for 12weeks between the closure dates. Also closed to pedestrians. SCHEDULE - ROAD CLOSURE/TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT
Road Closure: B7031 North side of A71: From junction with A71 northwards for a distance of 125m or thereby (to access to Burnhouse Farm Steadings). B7031 South side of A71: From junction with A71 generally southwards for a distance of 180m or thereby (to access to Nos. 11-15 Milrig Holdings).
Temporary 30mph speed limit: A71
Dates and Times: 0800hrs on 3 June to 0800hrs on 27 September 2024
Diversion Route: South side via B7031, Station Road, A71 and vide versa. North side via B7031, B7015, A71 and vice versa.
