What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure – Butts Lawn & Burford Lane/ Waters Green, Brockenhurst, New Forest

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Butts Lawn between its junction with Meerut Road and its junction with Griggs Lane.

That part of Burford Lane/ Water Green between its junction with Butts Lawn and its junction with Meerut Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Fathersfield, Horlock Road, Grigg Lane, Waters Green, Meerut Road.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 3rd June 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 weeks, this order will be in operation for 24 hours a day).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for 4-Site Power and Fibre Networks to carry out excavation and installation of duct safely. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: Stuartguertin@4spfn.com

4-Site Power and Fibre Networks will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
