Field Road - Temporary Road Closure For Ducting & Tarmac Works

Temporary Closure of Field Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Field Road - from the junction with Rectory Triangle to the junction with Burrows Lane. A total distance of 217 metres.
This Order will enable Mike Ford Groundworks to carry out ducting and tarmac works.
The Order becomes effective on 6th June 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th June 2024 and last until 17th June 2024 between the hours of 00:00-23:59 for a total of 3 days.
