What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council,

Borough of Harrogate, Parking & Waiting, NO 13, Order 2024 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Harrogate ) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in Schedule 1 below & by revoking those items in the Orders specified in Schedule 2 below:- Schedule 1 - Waiting Prohibited at any Time Except for Disabled Badge Holders - Ure Bank Top (U3001), Ripom, West side, from a point on the West side of Ure Bank Top from its intersection point with the projected boundary line of Nos.1/ 3 Ure Bank Top for a distance of 6.6 metres in a southerly direction. (No.1 Ure Bank Top). Crescent Parade (U3011), Ripon, North East side, from a point 44.5 metres North West of the intersection between Crescent Parade & North Street, in a North Westerly direction for 6.6 metres. Schedule 2 – Revocations - North Yorkshire County Council (Various Roads. Borough of Harrogate) (Disabled Person’s Parking Bays) (No.2) Order 2013 - In so far as it relates to item 24, Schedule 1 (No waiting except Disabled Badge Holders – Main Street (C87), Melmerby). North Yorkshire County Council (Various Roads. Borough of Harrogate) (Disabled Person’s Parking Bays) (No.5) Order 2017 - In so far as it relates to item 1, Schedule 1 (No waiting except Disabled Badge Holders – No.28 Princess Royal Road, Ripon). North Yorkshire County Council (Various Roads. Borough of Harrogate) (Disabled Person’s Parking Bays) (No.7) Order 2018 - In so far as it relates to item 2, Schedule 1 (No waiting except Disabled Badge Holders – No.30 Kingsway, Huby). North Yorkshire County Council (Various Roads. Borough of Harrogate) (Disabled Person’s Parking Bays) (No.9) Order 2020 - In so far as it relates to item 3, Schedule 1 (No waiting except Disabled Badge Holders -Main Street, Kirk Deighton) - In so far as it relates to item 5, Schedule 1 (No waiting except Disabled Badge Holders – No. 3 Bridge View Road, Ripon) - In so far as it relates to item 8, Schedule 1 (No waiting except Disabled Badge Holders – No. 10 Wakeman Road, Ripon). A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Ripon Library, The Arcade, Ripon, HG4 1AG during normal office hours from 23/06/24 until 14/06/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or
