(Village Road, Littleton upon Severn) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Village Road which extends from Central Farm Lane to Rushen Lane. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon pole replacement works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 27 May 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration, between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Orchard Road which extends from a point 45m east of Bellevue Road eastwards for 25m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon lead replacement works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 28 May 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 days duration. Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Coronation Road which extends from Orchard Vale south eastwards for 50m. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon new water connection works on or adjacent to the highway. The order will be operative from 17 June 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 5 days duration. Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians the lengths of bridleway specified in the Schedule to this notice. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon new development installation of rising main and storage tanks. The order became operative from 28 May 2024 for a maximum period of six months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 6 months duration. Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to:- a) close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; and b) suspend, temporarily, when the signs are covered, the one way traffic working, to any vehicle proceeding in the length of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with drainage installation works. The order will be operative from 17 June 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The restrictions however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that the works relating to each location will be carried out on the dates specified in relation to each length of road in column 2 of Schedule 1 and Schedule 2. NOTICE is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council proposes to make an order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles waiting at any time in lengths of Pennington Road, Sodbury Road and Summer View, Wickwar. Exemptions in the order permit any vehicle to wait for the purpose of boarding or alighting; loading or unloading goods; delivering postal packets; maintenance of the road; supply of gas, water or electricity; the pursuance of statutory powers or duties; taking in petrol, oil, water or air from any garage; weddings or funerals and in accordance with the current provisions for vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge. Notice is hereby given that the above order, made by South Gloucestershire District Council on 31 October 2019, has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 24 May 2025 or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 (Footpath LWE 39 (Part) at Box Hedge Farm, Westerleigh) Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2024

The above order, made on 15 May 2024, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert that length of public footpath LWE 39 in the Unitary District of South Gloucestershire in the Parish of Westerleigh and Coalpit Heath that runs from the edge of Martin Croft Brake woodland at Point A on the order plan (grid reference ST 6810 7968) in an east north easterly direction along two field boundaries for a distance of 196m to the garden boundary of The Old Barn at Point B (grid reference ST 6830 7972). From here it turns in an east south easterly direction and continues across the grounds of The Old Barn and Box Hedge Farm for a distance of 108m to meet bridleway LWE 38 at Point C (grid reference ST 6840 7969). Shown by a bold continuous line marked A – B – C on the order map; to a line running from the edge of Martin Croft Brake woodland at Point A (grid reference ST 6810 7968) running in a south easterly direction through a field for a distance of 95m to Point D (grid reference ST 6818 7963) where the path turns to an easterly direction, continuing through the field to the south of the farm buildings, for a distance of 162m to Point E (grid reference ST 6834 7964). Here, the path curves in a north easterly direction running along the verge of the farm access road for a distance of 65m to Point F (grid reference ST 6840 7967) before it turns north for a distance of 18 metres crossing the farm access road and meeting bridleway LWE 38 east of Box Hedge Farm at Point C (grid reference ST 6840 7969). Having a total length of 340m, a width throughout of 2m and shown by a bold broken line marked A – D – E – F – C on the order map. (Footpath LYA 49 (Part) Ladden Garden Village, Yate) Public Path Diversion Order 2023
On 15 May 2024, South Gloucestershire District Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath from Point A (grid reference ST 7198 8455) where it meets the unaffected part of LYA 49 on the driveway, west of ‘The Old Chapel’, running south-southwestwards through the garden for 93m before crossing into a field for another 36m to Point B (grid reference ST 7195 8442), then continuing southwestwards across the field for 205m to Point C (grid reference ST 7179 8430) where it meets the unaffected part of LYA 49 on the southern side of the hedged boundary. Shown by a bold black line marked A – B – C on the order map – to a line running from Point A (grid reference ST 7198 8455) where it meets the unaffected part of LYA 49, within the driveway 3m west of ‘The Old Chapel’, running southwest for 15m before following the garden boundary fence generally southwards for 85m to Point W (grid reference ST 7195 8446), then crossing into public open space and meandering generally south for 179m to Point X (grid reference ST 7193 8429).
