1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders, under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and of Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the proposed Orders would be to:-

(a) split Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) NN into CPZ NN and CPZ NN1 as detailed in the Schedules to this Notice;

(b) absorb the roads or length of roads contained within CPZ NN as mentioned in Schedule 1 to this Notice into CPZ NN1 consisting of the existing parking places and waiting and loading restrictions which would operate Mondays - Saturdays, 8am-8pm;

(c) amend the existing Orders so that remaining roads or length of roads contained within CPZ NN as mentioned in Schedule 2 to this Notice;

(d) amend the existing Orders so that the parking permit eligibility for the remaining roads within CPZ NN as detailed in Schedule 3 to this Notice;

(e) provide parking permit eligibility for the proposed roads within CPZ NN1 as detailed in Schedule 4 to this Notice;

(f) convert the existing free parking places to shared use permit or pay by phone parking places to operate Monday to Saturday 8am-8pm within the proposed CPZ NN1, on:-

(i) Argyle Road, outside Nos. 1 - 5 and 14 Argyle Road;

(ii) Drayton Road, adjacent to No. 4 Manor Road;

(ii) Manor Road outside Nos. 52-58 Manor Road to be made partial footway parking places.

(g) convert the existing waiting restriction from part-time to ‘at any time’ on Sutherland Road, adjacent to No. 67 Argyle Road.

Footnote: NN CPZ permit holders would be permitted to park within NN1 CPZ permit parking places; and NN1 CPZ permit holders would be permitted to park within NN CPZ permit parking places.

4. The proposed Orders, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made, or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

5. Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing by e-mail to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by post to Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference P038-2024 until the 12 June 2024. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.

SCHEDULE 1
NN1 (proposed) - hours from Mon - Sat, 8am-8pm. Argyle Road* (between Manor Road and Sutherland Road), Drayton Avenue, Drayton Gardens, Drayton Green, Drayton Grove, Drayton Road, Manor Road, Sutherland Road.

SCHEDULE 2
NN (proposed) - no change to zone hours (Mon - Fri, 10-11am & 2-3pm). Argyle Road* (between Cleveland Road and Sutherland Road), Briarbank Road, Charles Road, Courtfield Gardens, Highview Road, Lynton Avenue, Roseberry Gardens.

SCHEDULE 3
NN1 (proposed) permit eligibility. Argyle Road* [between Manor Road and Sutherland Road] Nos. 1 to 67 and Nos. 2 to 64 Argyle Road, Drayton Avenue, Drayton Gardens, Drayton Green, Drayton Grove, Drayton Road, Manor Road, Sutherland Road.

SCHEDULE 4
NN (proposed) permit eligibility.
Argyle Road* [between Cleveland Road and Sutherland Road] Nos. 69 to 99 Argyle Road (including Glenmore Lawns) and Nos. 66 to 152a Argyle Road (including Drayton Court Chambers; and Stirling Court), Briarbank Road, Charles Road, Courtfield Gardens, Highview Road, Lynton Avenue, Roseberry Gardens.
