What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam wedi gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG DRWODD) DROS DRO o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd yn weithredol o 20/05/24 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio'r rhan honno o Ffordd Rhosddu, Wrecsam o'i chyffordd i gyfeiriad y gogledd-orilewin gyda Shellbark Close, i'r gyffordd gyda'r gylchfan ar gyfer A5152 a Ffordd Rhosddu i gyfeiriad y de-ddwyrain am 580 metr i alluogi Wales and West Utilities i osod prlf bibell nwy newydd yn y briffordd.

Bydd y ffordd amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effefthir gan gau'r ffordd ar hyd L6n Price, A5152 Ffordd Caer, ac A5152 Ffordd Gyswllt, a bydd arwyddion I ddangos hyn. Bydd y ffordd ar agor I gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau. Mae disgwyl i'r gwaharddiad bara am 40 dlwrnod gwarth, neu lal os bydd y gwafth wedi'i gwblhau'n gyrrt, ond dim mwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council has made a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 20/05/2024 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Rhosddu Road, Wrexham from its north-westerly junction with Shellbark Close to its junction with the roundabout for A5152 and Rhosddu Road in an south-easterly direction for a distance of 580 meters to enable Wales and West Utilities to replace the gas mains in the carriageway. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Price's Lane, A5152 Chester Road, and A5152 Link Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 40 working days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
