What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D1088 Wiclif Way, Nuneaton
Order Effect: Road closed between Church Road and o/s No. 65 Wiclif Way.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing works, closed 0800 - 1700 hrs, Weekdays only.
Order Commences: 29 May 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 June 2024
Access & Diversion: Church Road, B4112 Ansley Road, Wiclif Way and vice versa.
Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only.

School Hill, Hartshill
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to repair defect in the highway.
Order Commences: 27 May 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 May 2024.
Access & Diversion: School Hill, Coleshill Road, Chancery Lane, Camp Hill Road, Tuttle Hill, Mancetter Road, Atherstone Road, The Green, Castle Road, Church Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Wilkinsons Environmental, Tel: 02476 390 850.

Trent Road, Nuneaton
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. In addition, the one-way traffic flow on Trent Road and Saint Nicolas Road will be temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: To enable works for the installation of a new water supply.
Order Commences: 29 May 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 June 2024.
Access & Diversion: Weddington Road, Old Hinckley Road, St Nicolas Road, Oaston Road and vice versa.
Contractor: For STW, Network Plus & Go Traffic Management, Tel: 01158 965 832.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

Edward Street, Nuneaton
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between properties number 82 and 32.
Reason for Order: To enable works to repair collapse within a manhole.
Order Commences: 10 June 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 June 2024.
Access & Diversion: Edward Street, Queens Road, Jubilee Way, Coton Road, Coventry Road and vice versa.
Contractor: For STW, Customer Solution Plus, Tel: 07380 549 482.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
