What is happening?
WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICES
CYCLE LANE, MITCH AM LANE The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 652) Order 2024;
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 15 May 2024 made the above orders under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
2. The general effect of the Orders to make certain changes to parking arrangements in Mitcham Lane and side roads to facilitate a cycle lane. Lengths of "at any time" waiting restrictions will be introduced in Mitcham Lane between its junctions with Southcroft Road and Blegborough Road, and at the junctions with Mitcham Lane with the following side roads, Kettering Street, Edencourt Road, Eastwood Street, Greyswood Street, Credenhill Street, Welham Road, Corsehill Street, Dahomey Road, Moyser Road, Fernthorpe Road and Blegborough Road; to introduce a loading bay outside No. 253 Mitcham Lane operating between 7am and 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, with a maximum stay of 30 minutes, no return within 1 hour, and to introduce limited time parking bays outside Nos. 247-251 Mitcham Lane, operating between 7am and 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, with a maximum stay of 30 minutes, no return within 1 hour.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 20 May 2024, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLE ZONE THE EMBANKMENT, SW15
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 15 May 2024 made the following Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004:-
- The Wandsworth (Prescribed Routes) (No. 2) Traffic Order 2024
2. The general effect of the Order will be to: introduce a Pedestrian and Cycle Zone in The Embankment, between its junctions with Lower Richmond Road and Thames Place, which would operate at any time.
3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, which will come into operation on 17 May 2024 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SECTION 247 LAND SOUTH OF 156-232 WHITLOCK DRIVE
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping up of the highways described in the First Schedule.
THE ORDER IS MADE to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning consent under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the London Borough of Wandsworth under local planning authority reference 2020/5124. COPIES OF THE ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE between 09:00 and 17:00 during a period of 28 days commencing on Thursday 16 May 2024 at Wandsworth Town Hall, SW18 2PU, at Southfield Library, 300 Wimbledon Park Road, London, SW19 6NL during the library's opening hours, and copies of the made order and plan can also be viewed online at: https://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/road-safety/traffic-management-orders-tmos/
ANY PERSON aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of Thursday 16 May 2024, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth made make the following Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
- The Wandsworth (Loading Bays) (No. 2) Order 2024;
- The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 651) Order 2024;
- The Wandsworth (Limited Time) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2024.
2. The general effect of the Orders is :-
(a)To introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") in Mitcham Lane between its junction with Edencourt Road and a point south-west of the junction of Fallsbrook Road and around the junctions of Edencourt Road, Kettering Street, Southcroft Road and Fallsbrook Road. The waiting restrictions in Mitcham Lane are to facilitate a cycle lane.
(b)To introduce limited time parking bays,
operating between 10am and 6pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive with a maximum stay of 1 hour and no return within 2 hours in Kettering Street, outside the side of No. 243 Mitcham Lane, in Edencourt Road outside the side of No. 258 Mitcham Lane and in Fallsbrook Road, outside the side of No. 263 Mitcham Lane.
(c)To introduce loading bays operating between 8am and 6pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, with a maximum stay of 40 minutes, no return within 2 hours in Edencourt Road outside the side of No. 258 Mitcham Lane, in Kettering Street, outside the side of No. 245 Mitcham Lane and in Fallsbrook Road, outside the side of No. 263 Mitcham Lane.
3.
