Greenman Passage, West Ealing - Prohibition of Footpath Users & Pedestrians
What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF FOOTPATH USERS & PEDESTRIANS) (GREENMAN PASSAGE, WEST EALING) ORDER 2024
1. Ealing Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made a temporary Order, the effect of which would be to prohibit all footpath users & pedestrians from entering or proceeding, on Greenman Passage (between its junctions with Alexandria Road and Bayham Road), at such times and extent when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed.
2. The Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on Thursday, 23 May 2024, and is required to facilitate infrastructure renewal including resurfacing works to be undertaken safely on roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice. The works re anticipated to last 8 weeks.
3. The maximum duration of the Order will be 18 months or until the said works are completed.
4. Diversions for all footpath users & pedestrians shall be via: Alexandria Road, Connaught Road, Bayham Road, and vice versa.
5. Exemptions will be provided for business or resident access to the rear of properties affected.
