Effect of the order: To Extend: a '30mph Speed Limit' (Currently a 40mph Speed Limit) on the following lengths of road, Little Easton, in the District of Uttlesford.

(Debden Road, Newport) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Debden Road, Newport in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Chalk Farm Lane for a distance of approximately 75m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th June 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06054993/AP -Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via High Street, London Road, Widdington Road and vice versa (with access only into Debden Road).

The Order came into effect on 23rd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hawkspur Green Road, Little Sampford/Little Sampford Road, Little Bardfield & Bell Lane, Great Bardfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hawkspur Green Road, Little Sampford/Little Sampford Road, Little Bardfield in the District of Uttlesford and that length of Bell Lane, Great Bardfield in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Hall Road to the junction with High Street a distance of approximately 4310m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th June 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2366383/EP201EH2364886 &EP201EH2366391 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via High Street, Vine Street, Brook Street, Bridge Street, Bridge End, Finchingfield Road, Bardfield Road, The Green, Green Road, Brent Hall Road, Sampford Road, Hawkins Hill, Finchingfield Road, Hall Road and vice versa.

(Langley Lower Green, Langley & Langley Road, Clavering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Langley Lower Green, Langley & Langley Road, Clavering in the District of Uttlesford, from the junction with Further Ford End Road for a distance of approximately 860m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th June 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02228766341 -RB Whitbread Planthire LTD). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while dropped crossing works are undertaken by RB Whitbread Planthire LTD.

(Valance Road, Clavering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Valance Road, Clavering in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 1655m south east then east of its junction with Cogmore for a distance of approximately 60m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th June 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30038751909 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Park Lane, Langley Lower Green, Langley Road and vice versa (with access only into Valance Road, Upper Green Road and Bull Lane).

The Order will come into effect on 23rd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Broxted Road, Thaxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Broxted Road, Thaxted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 235m north east of its junction with Stanbrook Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd June 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS492178 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Copthall Lane, Thaxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Copthall Lane, Thaxted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 160m north east of its junction with Weaverhead Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th May 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30096719522 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Ivy Todd Hill, Debden) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ivy Todd Hill, Debden in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Water Lane for a distance of approximately 460m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th May 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA140GCEECTNA00738-CW -Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Gigaclear.

(Various Roads, Borough of Castle Point) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.7) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary "No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 23rd May 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services.

Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. 1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Wakering Road, Great/ Little Wakering in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 140m north of the junction with Coronation Close for a distance of approximately 175 in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th May 2024 for 22 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30038857183/03569235 - UK Power Networks). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Romsey Road, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th May 2024 for 40 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN01354633 - Essex And Suffolk Water).
