What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D7041 STONELEIGH ROAD, D7043 MILL END, D7027 FORGE ROAD & D7263 WOODMILL MEADOW, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Stoneleigh Road and Mill End – closed between Stoneleigh Avenue and Watling Road. Forge Road and Woodmill Meadow will be closed for a distance of 20m at their junctions with Mill End. Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 09.00hrs-15.00hrs weekdays only, excluding Bank Holidays. Order Commences: 20 May 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 30 May 2024. Access & Diversion: Stoneleigh Road and Mill End – Stoneleigh Road, Albion Street, Upper Rosemary Hill, A452, A429, Common Lane and vice versa. There is no suitable diversion for Forge Road and Woodmill Meadow. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A439 WARWICK ROAD, STRATFORD UPON AVON
Order Effect: Road closed between the A46 Marraway Island and A3400 Bridgeway (Stratford Gyratory). Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing/lining works, closed 20.00hrs-06.00hrs (All nights). Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 7 July 2024. Access & Diversion: A3400 (Bridgeway, Guild Street, Birmingham Road), A46 and vice versa. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. Whilst works are in progress the following will apply: Restricted access/egress to/from St. Gregory’s Road and Welcombe
Road, Access/egress to/from Ingon Lane to be via A46/Kings Lane and Sand Barn Lane to be via A46 only. No access/egress to/from Stratford Road and Hatton Bank Lane. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

BROOK LANE, TREDINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Remedial works to rectify HA defect. Order Commences: 6 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 6 June 2024. Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 07955 722 171.

D5342 GUILD ROAD, ASTON CANTLOW
Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety from Bearley Road. Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing, and footway reconstruction works, closed 08.00hrs-17.00hrs, weekdays only. Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 June 2024. Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

GRANGE ROAD, STRATFORD-UPON-AVON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works to lay new gas service. Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 7 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Grange Road, School Lane, Snitterfield Road, Oaktree Close and vice versa. Contractor: Headway Traffic Management, Tel: 01564 820 118.

SHOTTERY ROAD, STRATFORD-UPON-AVON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Cabling works for new customer connection, closed 10.30hrs-16.30hrs. Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 3 June 2024. Access & Diversion: Shottery Road, Evesham Road, Brookvale Road and vice versa. Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 08001 412 004.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
