The Isle of Wight Council's Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (Queens Road, Freshwater, Isle of Wight)

(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2024

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between Monday 27 May 2024, and Wednesday 29 May 2024, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Queens Road, Freshwater, between its junction with Bedbury Lane and its junction with Locksley Close. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway CCTV survey works.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Wednesday 29 May 2024 until 1600 hours on Friday 14 June 2024, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pan Lane, for its entire length. There is no alternative route. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 24th May 2024 and Friday 23rd August 2024 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance and Investigation works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle Is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where Indicated by traffic signs. These works may Include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Thursday 23 May 2024 until 1700 hours on Friday 24 May 2024, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Park Road, between its junctions with Princes Street and Firs Close. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 17 May 2024 and Friday 28 June 2024 the following road will be closed for both day and night for approximately ten days during this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of footway maintenance and resurfacing works to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, maintenance, rectification, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerblng works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe.
