Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA

A26 ST. JOHNS ROAD, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of the bus lane on A26 St. Johns Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The bus lane will be suspensed outside Edison Court. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

B2188 FORDCOMBE ROAD, LANGTON GREEN (40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily restrict traffic on part of B2188 Fordcombe Road, Langton Green, on or after 31st May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be restricted to 40mph, between Black Lion House and the junction of Old House Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

BURNT HOUSE LANE, LANGTON GREEN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Burnt House Lane, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 12th June 2024 for up to 10 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Shambles. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Burnt House Lane, Langton Road, Speldhurst Road, The Green, A264 Langton Road, Farnham Lane, Burnt House Lane and vice versa.

CORNFORD LANE, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cornford Lane, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 29th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Little Mouseden, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cornford Lane, Halls Hole Road, A264 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Road, High Street and vice versa.

FOXHOLE LANE, HAWKHURST TN18 5EB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow blockage clearance works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Foxhole Lane, Hawkhurst, on or after 12th June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Coach House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Foxhole Lane, Field Green, Sponden Lane, A268 Megrims Hill, A268 Rye Road and vice versa.

FOXHOLE LANE, MATFIELD TN12 7ES (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Foxhole Lane, Matfield, on or after 10th June 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Southern Lights. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Foxhole Lane, Chestnut Lane, B2160 Maidstone Road, Bramble Reed Lane, Foxhole Lane and vice versa.

HALF MOON LANE, TUDELEY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new water connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Half Moon Lane, Tudeley, on or after 11th June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Dislingbury Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Half Moon Lane, Amhurst Bank Road, Redwings Lane, Old Church Road, Pembury Hall Road, Half Moon Lane and vice versa.

HAYESDEN LANE, PADDOCK WOOD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hayesden Lane, Paddock Wood, on or after 30th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Home Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Gate Farm Road, B2176 Bidborough Ridge, B2176 Penshurst Road, Hayesden Lane and vice versa.

HIGH ROCKS LANE, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS, TN4 8FR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Rocks Lane, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 29th May 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between junctions with The Midway and Cabbage Stalk Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hungershall Park, Major Yorks Road, A264 Langton Road, Tea Garden Lane and vice versa.

JARVIS LANE, GOUDHURST, TN17 1LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Jarvis Lane, Goudhurst, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Kendon House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Jarvis Lane, Horden Road, Combourne Lane, Jarvis Lane and vice versa.

LITTLE MOUNT SION, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS, TN1 1UP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new gas connection and water works to be carried outt, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Little Mount Sion, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed opposite Little Mount Sion Car Park. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Little Mount Sion, B2023 High Street, B2023 Vale Road, B2023 Grove Hill Road, Claremont Road and vice versa.

MASCALLS COURT ROAD, PADDOCK WOOD, TN12 6FJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mascalls Court Road, Paddock Wood, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed south of the junction with Green Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mascalls Court Road, Mile Oak Road, Pearsons Green Road, Churn Lane, B2162 Maidstone Road, The Heath, Brenchley Road, Horsmonden Road, High Street, Brenchley Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2160 Gedges Hill, Mascalls Court Road and vice versa.

SCHOOL HOUSE LANE, HORSMONDEN, TN12 8BP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of School House Lane, Horsmonden, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Carpenters Barn. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained for residents.

TENTERDEN ROAD, GOLFORD TN17 3NU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tenterden Road, Golford, on or after 10th June 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Golford Gate Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Tenterden Road, Chapel Lane, A262 The Street, A262 Biddenden Road, A262 Sissinghurst Road, A262 High Street, A262 Tenterden Road, Benenden Road, Cranbrook Road and vice versa.
