Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
CASTLE STREET, TONBRIDGE, TN9 1EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new electric connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Street, Tonbridge, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 5. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2260 High Street, Lansdowne Road, Lodge Road, Stafford Road, The Slade.
LANSDOWNE ROAD, TONBRIDGE TN9 1HT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lansdowne Road, Tonbridge, on or after 10th June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 23. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Eastbound through traffic is via Lodge Road, Stafford Road, The Slade, Bank Street, B2260 High Street and Lansdowne Road.
The alternative route for any Westbound through traffic is via Lansdowne Road, B2260 High Street, Castle Street, The Slade, Stafford Road and Lodge Road.
LOWER STREET, HILDENBOROUGH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Street, Hildenborough, on or after 14th June 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Reams Farm, between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Rings Hill, Philpots Lane, Lower Street and vice versa.
NEW HYTHE LANE, AYLESFORD ME20 6ST (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow overbridge inspection/repair and maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Hythe Lane, Aylesford, on or after 14th June 2024 for up to 14 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside the East Malling and Larkfield Parish Council Office, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via New Hythe Lane, Leybourne Way, A228 Castle Way, A228 Leybourne Interchange, A228 Leybourne Bypass, A20 Ashton Way, A20 London Road, New Hythe Lane and vice versa.
PHILPOTS LANE, HILDENBOROUGH TN11 8PA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Philpots Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 11th June 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Cherry Hay, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Philpots Lane, Rings Hill, B2027 Stocks Green Road, B2027 Hildenborough Road, B2027 High Street, B2027 Penshurst Road, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Camp Hill, Coppings Road, Philpots Lane and vice versa.
PHOENIX DRIVE, WATERINGBURY ME18 5DY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow sewer repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Phoenix Drive, Wateringbury, on or after 12th June 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 103. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained.
STATION ROAD, BOROUGH GREEN, TN15 8EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow underground chamber works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Road, Borough Green, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Barclays Bank between the hours of 22:30 and 07:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Station Road, A25 Maidstone Road, High Street, A227 Western Road and vice versa.
TEAPOT LANE, AYLESFORD, ME20 7LS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new gas connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Teapot Lane, Aylesford, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 42. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Teapot Lane, A20 London Road, Hall Road, The Avenue, The Oaks, Elm Walk and vice versa.
TROTTISCLIFFE ROAD, ADDINGTON ME19 5DL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow bridge maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Trottiscliffe Road, Addington, on or after 10th June 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed on the M20 Overbridge, between the hours of 20:00 and 04:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Trottiscliffe Road, A20 London Road, Roughetts Road, Woodgate Road, Addington Lane, Trottiscliffe Road and vice versa.
