Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
MAIDSTONE AREA
B2010 SMITHS HILL, WEST FARLEIGH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow overhead and tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2010 Smiths Hill, West Farleigh, on or after 31st May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Ewell Lane, B2163 Heath Road, A229 Linton Hill, A229 Staplehurst Road, B2079 Maidstone Road, Underlyn Lane, Green Lane, B2162 Collier Street, B2162 Benover Road, B2010 High Street, B2010 Yalding Hill, B2010 Smiths Hill and vice versa.
B2163 LEEDS ROAD, LANGLEY, ME17 3GL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2163 Leeds Road, Langley, on or after 2nd June 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Briar Wood, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Leeds Road, B2163 Upper Street, B2163 Lower Street, B2163 Penfold Hill, A20 Ashford Road, Willington Street, A274 Sutton Road, A274 Maidstone Road, B2163 Leeds Road and vice versa.
CAMPBELL ROAD, MAIDSTONE ME15 6HT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow signal loop replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Campbell Road, Maidstone, on or after 1st June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with A229 Hayle Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Muir Road, Old Tovil Road, A229 Upper Stone Street, A229 Sheals Crescent and A229 Hayle Road.
GALLANTS LANE, EAST FARLEIGH ME15 0LE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER FEBRUARY 2024
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Gallants Lane, East Farleigh, on or after 10th June 2024, for up to 1 day, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the Wilsons Lane junction and the Lower Road junction, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Gallants Lane, Wilsons Lane, Vicarage Lane, B2010 Lower Road, Gallants Lane and vice versa.
HORSESHOES LANE, LANGLEY ME17 3HD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Horseshoes Lane, Langley, on or after 11th June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Shieling Hall. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Horseshoes Lane, A274 Sutton Road, A274 Maidstone Road, B2163 Leeds Road, Heath Road and vice versa.
LENHAM ROAD, HEADCORN (30MPH SPEED REDUCTION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Speed reduction to 30mph to allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lenham Road, Headcorn, on or after 10th June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Park House Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
LIVERTON HILL, GRAFTY GREEN ME17 2AL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Liverton Hill, Grafty Green, on or after 13th June 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Liverton Hill Farm, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road, Lenham Road, Chartway Street, A274 North Street, A274 Sutton Valence Hill, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Mill Bank, Kings Road, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill and vice versa.
NEW BARN ROAD, HAWKENBURY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Barn Road, Hawkenbury, on or after 30th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Lake Farm, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via New Barn Road, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Mill Bank, Moat Road, Summerhill, Four Oaks Road, Plumtree Road, Four Oaks Road, New Barn Road and vice versa.
PHEASANT LANE, MAIDSTONE, ME15 9QR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pheasant Lane, Maidstone, on or after 2nd June 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 9. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained.
PILGRIMS WAY, DETLING ME14 3EU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Detling, on or after 10th June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Alpines. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pilgrims Way, The Street, Boxley Road, Penenden Heath Road, A249 Bearsted Road, A249 Newnham Court Roundabout, A249 Sittingbourne Road, A249 Detling Interchange, A249 Sittingbourne Road and vice versa.
PROVENDER WAY, WEAVERING, ME14 5UQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new electric connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Provender Way, Weavering, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Briarwood. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Provender Way, Grovewood Drive North, New Cut Road, Grovewood Drive South and vice versa.
RINGLESTONE ROAD, HOLLINGBOURNE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ringlestone Road, Hollingbourne, on or after 29th May 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside West Leas. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ringlestone Road, Hollingbourne Hill, Upper Street, Manor Lane, Eyhorne Street, A20 Ashford Road, Church Road, Stede Hill, Hogbarn Lane and vice versa.
WORKHOUSE LANE, EAST FARLEIGH ME15 0QA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Workhouse Lane, East Farleigh, on or after 11th June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Stockett Lane and Dean Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dean Street, B2163 Heath Road, Stockett Lane and vice versa.
