B2131 Liphook Road, Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of B2131 Liphook Road, Haslemere that extends from the western side of its junction with A287 Sturt Road, to the county boundary of Surrey County Council with West Sussex County Council. This Traffic Order is required to enable Dyer and Butler/Network Rail to carry out inspections and/or repairs and/or maintenance and/or improvement, to include bridge strengthening and painting works to the “Boundary Railway Bridge” that crosses B2131 Liphook Road, Haslemere between its junction with D5508 Critchmere Lane and the county boundary. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 2 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 June 2024. Works are anticipated to be carried out:- under continuous working due to rail possessions from 5am on 01/06/24 to 5am on 03/06/24, and from 9pm to 5am each night from 03/06/24 to 08/06/24. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. No sole access to any property will be affected. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Liphook Road, Sturt Road, Camelsdale Road and Shottermill Road.

Hale House Lane (D127) Churt
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024

On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Hale House Lane (D127) Churt as extends from its junction with (A287) Crossways to its junction with (D129) Green Cross Lane; and (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Hale House Lane (D127) Churt Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024 insofar as it affects the length of road specified in part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: (A287) Crossways, (A287) Churt Road, (D131) Green Lane, and (D129) Green Cross Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate hoist utility works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

D5336 St James Avenue, Farnham

Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D5336 St James Avenue, Farnham that extends from its junction with B3007 Hale Road, to its junction with D5336 Stoke Hills. This Traffic Order is required to enable South East Water to carry out water mains maintenance and/or connection works and/or carriageway reinstatement works in D5336 St James Avenue, Farnham between “The Cottage” and “No.15 St James Avenue”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9am and 5pm, within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access to affected residences and businesses, including access for emergency services to such properties will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- St James Avenue, Stoke Hills, St James Terrace, Sumner Road, Beaufort Road, St Cross Road, East Street, Hale Road and St James Avenue.

Old Haslemere Road (D5526) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Old Haslemere Road (D5526) Haslemere which extends from its junction with Park Road (D5526) to its junction with Hill Road (D5526). Alternative Route – Park Road (D5526) and Hill Road (D5526) or the same route in reverse. This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 07 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Highercombe Road (D5528) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Highercombe Road (D5528) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (D5528) Three Gates Lane to its junction with the access to the property known as “Grays Lodge” and (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Highercombe Road (D5528) Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” in its entirety. Alternative Route: Highercombe Road, (A286) Grayswood Road, and Three Gates Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to carry out gas mains connection works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 28 days, between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, and between 9am and 1pm Saturdays and Sundays (if required), during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 10 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only. Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to maintain vehicular access through the closure for residents while work is in place. Road plates will be added out of hours. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.

Beaufort Road (D5336) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Beaufort Road (D5336) Farnham which extends from its junction with Upper South View (D5336) to its junction with St Cross Road (D5336). Alternative Route – Upper South View (D5336) and St Cross Road (D5336) or the same route in reverse. This Order is required to allow Cappagh to carry out sewer cover replacement, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 03 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for cyclists will be maintained via the signed diversion route.
