What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDERS 2024
WASHINGTON STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Washington Street, outside number 55 to the junction with Worthing Street, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during gas mains replacement works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be Worthing Street, Clough Road and Beverley Road.
The Order will come into effect 10th June 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 10th June 2024 to 21st June 2024, and then 15th July 2024 to 16th August 2024.

FOSTER STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Foster Street at the junction with Aschcourts Entrance, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will come into effect 15th June 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 1 week.

NODDLE HILL WAY (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Noddle Hill Way, between Castle Hill Road and the entrance to Castle Care Village, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the installation of new telecoms pole and cable.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 12th June 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 7.30pm to 5am, nightly from 12th June 2024 to 14th June 2024.
