SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C94 (Part), Luckington; for a distance of approximately 20m either side of the railway bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out detailed bridge inspection and associated works. Alternative route via C71 -B4039 - B4040 - Ashbridge Pike Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. B) Brickley Lane (Part), Devizes; from its roundabout junction with Windsor Drive to its junction with A342 to enable Openreach to carry out poles and associated works. Alternative route via A342 -Windsor Drive and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 3 days. C) School Lane (Part), Little Bedwyn; from outside its property known as Denby Cottage to outside its property known as Violette Cottage to enable SB Civil Engineering Ltd to carry out new connection to existing sewer and associated works. Alternative route via School Lane (unaffected length) - Browns Lane - Chisbury Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 for 5 days. This Order will come into operation on 13 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 2 days. This Order will come into operation on 10 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 for 2 days. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: F) C81 (Part), Charlton, Lea and Cleverton; from its junction with B4040 for a distance of approximately 100m in a south westerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out works to provide a new connection to sewage pumping station other associated works. Alternative route via C81 (unaffected length) - C67 - B4040 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 May 2024 and the closure will be required until 29 May 2024. This Order will come into operation on 20 May 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:00 for 5 days. H) C70 (Part), Purton; from its junction with Newths Lane for a distance of approximately 1.3km in a southerly direction to enable Gigaclear to carry out works to clear blockages in the carriageway and verge and other associated works. I) Studley Hill (Part), Calne Without; from its junction with C136 to its junction with C137 to enable Gigaclear to carry out works to safely clear blockages in the carriageway and other associated works. Alternative route via C137 - C136 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 May 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 until 24 May 2024. J) Roundway by Phone Box North then North West to Car Park (Part), Devizes: from a point approximately 250m north of its junction with C249 for a distance of approximately 200m in a north westerly direction to enable National Grid to carry out work to install belllmouths, plant crossing install and other associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order which previously came into operation on 06 May 2024 will now recommence on 18 May 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 22 May 2024. For further information please contact National Grid on 0800 096 3080. Orders A) to I) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order J) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 HE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (No.31) 2023 (Ref TTRO 9460)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice. The Order, which previously came into operation on 23 October 2023 will now recommence on 20 May 2024. It is required to enable carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated maintenance works. The Order has a maximum duration period of 18 months. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 20 May 2024 and 28 June 2024. Schedule 1. C14 (Part), Malmesbury; from its junction with B4040 to county boundary. 2. Parking permits for residents parking only are issued by Avebury Parish Council and must be clearly displayed during the period of the closures. These Orders are made to ensure public safety during the period of the Avebury Summer Solstice. Section (a) will come into operation at 06:00 on 20 June 2024 and will remain in force until 00:01 on 23 June 2024. Section (b) will come into operation at 06:00 on 17 June 2024 and will remain in force until 12 noon on 23 June 2024. Sections (c) - (e) will come into operation at 06:00 on 14 June 2024 and will remain in force until 12 noon on 22 June 2024. Sections (f) - (t) will come into operation at 06:00 on 19 June 2024 and will remain in force until 12 noon on 22 June 2024. The Orders for sections (a) - (b) and (f) - (t) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The Orders for sections (c) - (e) will have a maximum duration of 06 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction on the following length of road: Sodom Lane (Part), Dauntsey and Brinkworth; from its junction with C45 to its junction with C120. Due to: reasons of highway safety and risk of serious damage due to the commencement of reconstruction works of the carriageway at Lyneham Banks. The speed restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. The speed limit restriction will come into operation on 13 June 2024 and is anticipated to be required until the completion of the land slippage works at Lyneham Banks. The speed restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This speed limit restriction will come into operation on 13 June 2024 and is anticipated to be required until the completion of the land slippage works at Lyneham Banks. D) Tithe Barn Lane, Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Hollow Way for its entire length. Due to: reasons of highway safety and risk of serious damage due to the commencement of reconstruction works of the carriageway at Lyneham Banks. The speed restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all users: A) Footpath 6 (Part), Bishops Cannings; from its junction with A361 to its junction with Footpath 8, Bishops Cannings. B) Footpath 8 (Part), Bishops Cannings; from its junction with Footpath 6, Bishops Cannings to its junction with Horton Road to enable temporary closure to allow works on electricity supply network. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 10 June 2024 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 10 December 2024. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all users: C) Footpath 13 (Part), Latton; from its junction with B4696 for a distance of approximately 580m in a south easterly direction to enable surface improvements. Alternative route will be signed on site. This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 18 May 2024 and the closure will be required until 27 September 2024. Alternative route Follow the southern boundary of the development site, entering and exiting the development boundary by utilising the existing gap in the hedge at point "B" and the existing stile at point "A". See enclosed plan. This Order which was due to expire on 20 May 2024 will now continue in force until 20 May 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is earliest.
