What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 400905 CUTHAM LANE TO GARDENERS COTTAGE THROUGH BAGENDON (BAGENDON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 400905 Cutham Lane to Gardeners Cottage through Bagendon from outside the property known as ‘Pump House’ to outside the property known as ‘The Home Farm’ for a distance of approximately 194 metres.
The reason for the closure is for reconstruction of an unsafe retaining wall.
The road is expected to be closed from the 20th May 2024 until the 14th June 2024 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to adjacent properties will be maintained. Emergency access will not be maintained as the road will be blocked by equipment.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 500878 ROAD FROM RENDCOMB VILLAGE ROAD TO LONGBARROW (RENDCOMB PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 500878 Road from Rendcomb Village Road to Longbarrow from outside of the property known as ‘Woodcote’ to outside the property known as ‘Kennel Bottom’ for a distance of approximately 182 metres.
The reason for the closure is for electrical cable installation works.
The road is expected to be closed from the 20th May 2024 until the 27th May 2024 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to adjacent properties and emergency access will not be maintained as the excavation will be across narrow lane.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF C143 - BURFORD ROAD TO LARKET HILL WOOD ALDSWORTH (SHERBOURNE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C143 Burford Road to Larket Hill Wood Aldsworth, from its junction with the A40 to the property known as Woeful Lake Farm for a distance of approximately 381 metres.
The reason for the closure is for BT ducting and cabling works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 400917 FIELDS ROAD TO CHEAP STREET (CHEDWORTH PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 400917 Fields Road to Cheap Street from Fields Road to Cheap Street for a distance of approximately 584 metres.
The reason for the closure is for new water connections. There will be no parking and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the works.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF 407147 OVERHILL ROAD (CIRENCESTER TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407147 Overhill Road from outside the property known as number 29 to outside the property known as number 19 for a distance of approximately 39 metres.
The reason for the closure is for repairs required within the footway.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 (NEW CHURCH STREET) (TOWN OF TETBURY) (COTSWOLD DISTRICT) (VARIATION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 of Part I and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which would vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing restrictions detailed in The Schedule below on New Church Street in the Town of Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
The lengths of roads fall within the Town of Tetbury within the Cotswold District in Gloucestershire.
