Order made: To close that part of U62416 Peachley Lane from its junction with B4204 Sailors Bank to its junction with U62418 Peachley Gardens.

Reason: To renew existing BT pole by HSC Worcester Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U62418 Peachley Gardens, U62417 Church Lane, B4204 Sailors Bank and vice versa.

(B4205 Lowesmoor Terrace, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4205 Lowesmoor Terrace from its junction with B4205 Pheasant Street (westbound only) to its junction with U53030 Lowesmoor.

Reason: Installation of new (keep left) signage by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(Link Footpath F50117 Hungerpit Walk, Droitwich Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50117 Hungerpit Walk, Droitwich Road from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road for a distance of 78 metres in a Westerly direction.

Reason: Safe working for utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Droitwich Road, U50224 Perdiswell Street, A449 Ombersley Road and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of C2229 Hillside from its junction with B4197 Woodbury Hill for a distance of 100 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of C2065 Lulsley from its junction with C2279 Lulsley to its junction with C2070 Suckley Road.

Reason: Testing of telegraph pole by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1: U52326 Richmond Hill from its junction with C2290 Wyld's Lane to its junction with U52325 Richmond Road. Closure 2: U52326 St. Wulstan's Crescent from its junction with U52325 Richmond Road to its junction with U52324 Cole Hill.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2290 Wylds Lane, U52324 Cole Hill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 6 June 2024 and 17 June 2024.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U54126 Emerald Road from its junction with U54128 Solitaire Avenue to its junction with U54123 Penhill Crescent.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54123 Penhill Crescent, U54121 Brookside Road, U54128 Solitaire Avenue and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 10 June 2024 and 21 June 2024.

Order made: To close that part of U50109 East Street from its junction with U50103 Southfield Street to its junction with U50108 Northfield Street.

Reason: New customer connection by Cass.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of U51010 Vigornia Avenuefrom its junction with U51007 Gillam Street to its junction with U51009 Mayfield Avenue.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of U50358 Lavender Road from its junction with A449 Ombersley Road for a distance of 305 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Closure 2 A38 City Walls Road (Southbound): from its junction with U53030 Lowesmoor to its junction with A38 St. Martins Gate Roundabout. Closure 3: B4205 St. Martins Gate from its junction with B4205 Roundabout with U53000 George Street to its junction with A38 St. Martins Gate Roundabout. (District of Wychavon - Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on Seaford Lane and Orchard Lea, Naunton Beauchamp]

On 2 May 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Naunton Beauchamp: -

Seaford Lane (West side): From its junction with C2225 for a distance of 30 metres in a south easterly direction. (East side): From its junction with C2225 for a distance of 26 metres in a south westerly direction

Central triangle: The entire perimeter, a distance of 43 metres.

Orchard Lea (Both sides): From its junction with Seaford Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 23 May 2024. (Footpath SH-515, Shelsley Beauchamp) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024

Order made: To close Footpath SH-515, Shelsley Beauchamp for its entire length.

The Order has been made as a result of a rotten footbridge.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There is no alternative route. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 25 April 2024.
