PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(A44 Broadway Bypass, Broadway) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of A44 Broadway Bypass from its junction with A44 Leamington Road Roundabout for a distance of 3673 metres until the boundary with Gloucestershire.

Reason: Grass cutting by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: (Into Gloucestershire), C2119 Collin Lane, A44 Broadway Bypass, and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00 to 06:00) between 8 June 2024 and 12 June 2024.

(C2049 Stratford Road, Honeybourne) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2049 Stratford Road from its junction with C2274 Mickleton Road for a distance of 280 metres in a Northerly direction.

Reason: Overhead pole testing by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2049 Stratford Road, C2006 Station Road, C2006 Buckle Street, C2114 Pebworth Road, C2114 Front Street, C2114 Chapel Road, C2049 Stratford Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 June 2024.

(C2048 Willersey Road, Wickhamford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2048 Willersey Road from its junction with C2048 Golden Lane to its junction with U45222 Sands Lane.

Reason: Overhead works for BT pole testing by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2048 Willersey Road (part), C2048 School Lane, C2048 High Street, C2048 Synehurst, B4035 Badsey Road, A46 Evesham Bypass, A44 Broadway Road, A44 Longdon Hill, C2048 Longdon Hill, C2048 Manor Road, C2048 Golden Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 6 June 2024.

(B4084 Windmill Hill, Stoulton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4084 Windmill Hill from its junction with B4084 Pershore Road to its junction with U47601 Windmill Lane.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4084 Pershore Road, A44 Whittington Road, A4440 Whittington Road, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A44 Spetchley Road, A44 Evesham Road, B4084 Egdon Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 days (24hrs) between 22 May 2024 and 11 June 2024.

(C2265 Pitwell Lane, Aldington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2265 Pitwell Lane from its junction with B4510 Offenham Road for a distance of 80 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Safe access to overhead structure for cabling works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4510 Offenham Road, B4035 Badsey Road, A46 Evesham Bypass Roundabout (national highways), B4035 Badsey Road, C2265 Village Street, C2265 Main Street, C2265 Pitwell Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 10 June 2024.

(U45032 Manor Road, Middle Littleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U45032 Manor Road from its junction U45031 School Lane from a distance of 168 metres south, and East of its junction with U45031 School Lane and for a distance of 50 metres East.

Reason: New vehicle crossing (dropped kerb) by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U45032 Manor Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 6 June 2024.

(C2114 Chapel Road, Pebworth) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2114 Chapel Road from its junction with C2049 Stratford Road to its junction with C2114 School Road.

Reason: Installation of a dropped kerb with tactiles by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2114 Chapel Road (part), C2049 Friday Street, C2114 Long Marston Road, C2114 School Road, C2114 Chapel Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 12 June 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (District of Wychavon - Evesham Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Revocation and Proposed Waiting Restrictions on Abbey Road/Abbey Lane, Evesham] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to the Revocation of Waiting Restrictions on the following length and sides of roads in Evesham:-

U44401 Abbey Lane (Both sides) - All waiting restrictions over its entire length. New Restrictions:

U44401 Abbey Lane (Both sides) - No Waiting At Any Time over its entire length. Abbey Road (West Side) - No Waiting At Any Time - From a point 28m north of its junction with U44401 for a distance of 47m in a northerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
