THE BOROUGH OF READING

(FRIAR STREET) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024

Reading Borough Council has made an Order in accordance with section 14(l)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to temporarily suspend the loading bay and introduce a no waiting/loading at any time restriction on Friar Street.

The Order will come into force on 29 May 2024 to 29 November 2025.

Should the works take longer than expected the restriction will remain in force until the works are completed with a maximum order duration of 18 months unless extended by the Secretary of State.

The Order is necessary to facilitate the ongoing development on Friar Street.
