Summers Lane (D96) Hurtmore Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Summers Lane (D96) Hurtmore which extends from its junction with Hurtmore Road (C23) to the northeastern property boundary line of “Henley House”. Alternative Route – Priorsfield Road (D96) and Hurtmore Road (C23) or the same route in reverse. The Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 01 days, between 8:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 24 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Sandy Lane (D6851) Cobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Sandy Lane (D6851) Cobham. Alternative Route: (1) (D6858) Miles Lane, (C157) Fairmile Lane, (A307) Portsmouth Road, (A307) High Street, (A244) Church Street, (A3009) Esher Green, (A307) High Street, (A244) Claremont Lane, and (A244) Copsem Lane; and (2) (A244) Copsem Lane, (A244) Claremont Lane, (A307) High Street, (A307) Portsmouth Road, (C157) Fairmile Lane, and (D6858) Miles Lane. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of Blade Traffic Management. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 2.30pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 28 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times via the operatives on site. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Little London (D222) Albury Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Little London (D222) Albury as extends from its junction with (D222) Brook Lane to its junction with (D222) Park Road; and (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council D222 Little London and D222 Brook Lane, Albury Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” insofar as it affects the length of road specified in part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: Park Road, Brook Hill, and Brook Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate installation of new water connection works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Markenfield Road (D4005) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Markenfield Road (D4005) Guildford as extends from its junction with (D4005) Nettles Terrace to its junction with (A322) Woodbridge Road; and (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Markenfield Road (D4005) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” insofar as it affects the length of road specified in part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: (1) Markenfield Road, (A320) Stoke Road, (A246) York Road, (A322) Woodbridge Road, and at the (A322) Woodbridge Roundabout take third exit back onto (A322) Woodbridge Road; (2) Nettles Terrace, Dapdune Road, (A322) Woodbridge Road, and at the (A322) Woodbridge Roundabout take third exit back onto (A322) Woodbridge Road. This Order is required to facilitate water utility works for, or on behalf of Talboys Utility Services (Oxford). These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8.30am and 2pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other vehicular traffic to follow the diversion route.
Feathercombe Lane, Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Feathercombe Lane, Godalming. This Order is required to facilitate installation of new electrical connection works for, or on behalf of SSEN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. There is no alternative route for this closure.
Various Roads in Elmbridge, Runnymede and Spelthorne Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1, Schedule 2 and Schedule 3 to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate major maintenance works, including but not limited to: footway slurry/pre-patching works, carriageway surfacing works and fine milling works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 20 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. For Schedule 1 and 3: In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
Schedule 1 (Elmbridge)
1. the entire lengths of D2884 Churchfield Road and D3884 Churchfield Place, Weybridge. It is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 phases. There is no alternative route possible; 2. the entire length of D6866 Charlwood Drive, Oxshott. It is anticipated that the works will be carried out in phases (two halves) in order to maintain access for residents in Charlwood Drive and Burn Close/ Halcyon Close. There is no alternative route possible.
Schedule 2 (Runnymede)
1. the entire length of D3109 Rudge Rise, Addlestone. Alternative Route – B3121 Spinney Hill and D3109 Ledger Drive.
Schedule 3 (Spelthorne)
1. (a) the entire length of B378 School Road, Ashford; and (b) the entire length of the dual carriageway of B378 Convent Road, Ashford.
Alternative Route – B378 School Road, A308 Staines Road West, A308 Staines By-Pass, B377 Fordbridge Road, B377 Church Road, B377 Feltham Road and B378 Convent Road.
Cherry Tree Road (A283) Milford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of A283 Cherry Tree Road Milford which extends from its junction with A3100 Portsmouth Road to its junction with Cherry Tree Roundabout. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway treatment works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 21 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Pitch Place (C29) Thursley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Pitch Place (C29) Thursley which extends from its junction with Sailors Lane to its junction with Pitch Place Lane; (b) suspend “Various Roads in the Borough of Waverley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order No.1 2023” insofar as it relates to the entire length of Pitch Place only. This Order is required to enable South East Water to carry out water works and/or booster pump maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed overnight, between 8pm and 6am, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 21 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained via the diversion route. Alternative Route 1 – Pitch Place, Thursley Road, Milford Road, Elstead Road, A3 Southbound, Hazel Grove, Portsmouth Road, Tilford Road, Thursley Road and Pitch Place.

Various Roads in Godalming (Godalming Run Event) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order, pursuant to Sections 16A and 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along those lengths of roads in Godalming specified in the Schedule to this Notice, or any parts thereof.
Such restriction shall also apply in relation to the riding, leading or driving of horses or any other animals. The Order will come into effect on 19 May 2024, for a period of one day, but the prohibitions will only be operative when the relevant signs are displayed. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of an event on the highway, namely the Godalming Run and will not apply to such vehicles being used in connection with the event, or to anything done on the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a traffic marshal, or any sign placed by Surrey Police. Emergency access will be maintained for the police, fire brigade and ambulance services and for organisations responsible for dealing with the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, water or electronic communications, to premises in the area and for the removal of any obstruction to traffic. The Council are satisfied that, in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road to which this Order relates, or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising, vehicular access to premises situated in such lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted, save for emergency access as indicated above, though it is anticipated that the temporary closure will only take effect during between 09:50am and 1pm. It will be possible for vehicles emerging from properties in Borough Road north of the Thames Water Depot to turn left and exit the road at its junction with Charterhouse Road. Access for pedestrians will be unaffected. The Council are also satisfied, in accordance with subsection (3) of Section 16A of the Act, that the event to which the Order relates cannot be held otherwise than on a road. The alternative route for traffic will be via Chalk Road, Bridge Road, Wharf Street, Flambard Way, Station Road and Mill Way, or this route in reverse. Woking Road (A320) Guildford Temporary Bus Lane Suspension and Closure Order 2024
On 15 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Section 14(1), 14(7) and 15(8)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:-
(a) suspend the two existing bus lanes situated in those lengths of the north-eastern and easternmost traffic lane of the south-east and southbound carriageway of Woking Road (A320) which extend from its junction with the circulatory carriageway comprised in the roundabout situated at, or adjacent to, the junction of Woking Road (A320), Stoughton Road (D4023) and Woking Road (A320) south-eastwards and then southwards to a point 32 metres north of its junction with the circulatory carriageway comprised in the roundabout situated at, or adjacent to, the junction of Woking Road (A320), the slip road leading to the A3 London-Portsmouth Trunk Road and the unnamed access road leading to and from Stoke Mill and then from its junction with the circulatory carriageway comprised in the immediately aforesaid roundabout southwards to a point 12 metres north of the northern kerb-line of the slip road leading from the A3 London-Portsmouth Trunk Road to Woking Road (A320) imposed by “The County Council of Surrey Woking Road (A320) Guilford (Bus Lanes) (No. 1) Order 2002” in their entirety; (b) prohibit vehicles for entering and proceed in the bus lanes referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above.
This Order is required to enable UK Power Network to carry out urgent electrical work. The Order will commence on 19 May 2024 for a period of 3 months and which continues in force “The Surrey County Council Woking Road (A320) Guildford Temporary Bus Lane Suspension Closure Notice 2024”. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary suspension and closure of bus lane will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and/or covered up (as appropriate). The prohibition referred to above will not apply: (i) in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; (ii) in respect of anything done in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Police; (iii) to any vehicle being used in connection with the works.
D216 Northcote Lane, Shamley Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D216 Northcote Lane, Shamley Green. This Traffic Order is required to enable Ben Nicholson Tree Services to carry out tree safety and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9am and 4pm, within 2 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 10 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

D4016 Bury Street, Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- a) Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D4016 Bury Street, Guildford that extends from its junction with D4015 High Street, to its junction with D4016 Millmead Terrace. Alternative route:- Portsmouth Road, Bury Fields, Millmead Terrace and Bury Street. b) Suspend “The Guildford Traffic Regulation Order 1965” as amended and (ii) “The County Council of Surrey Buryfields Guildford (Cycle Lane) (No. 1) Traffic Order 1998” insofar as impose the existing one way systems for traffic in D4016 Bury Fields and D4016 Bury Street, Guildford. This Traffic Order is required by Crangy Construction Services Limited to enable water mains connection and/or maintenance works on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm on weekdays, and 8am and 1pm on Saturdays, within 10 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 10 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Jumps Road (C29) Churt which extends from its junction with Crabtree Lane (D128) to the southeastern property boundary line of “The Cedars”. Alternative Route – Jumps Road (C29), Tilford Road (C28) and Churt Road (A287) or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 8:30am and 4:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 03 June 2024. Alternative Route – No diversion route available. This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 05 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Anyards Road (D6884) and Copse Road (D6883) Cobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Anyards Road (D6884) Cobham as extends from its junction with (D6883) Copse Road and (X16029) Oakfield Road to a point in line with the common boundary between No.111 and No.113 Anyards Road, and (b) the entire length of the westbound lane of Copse Road (D6883) Cobham. Alternative Route: (1a) Left turn onto (D6883) Copse Road, (A307) Portsmouth Road, (A245) Between Streets, and (D6884) Oakdene Road; and (1b) (D6884) Oakdene Road, Between Streets, and (A307) Portsmouth Road; and (2a) The eastbound lane of (D6883) Copse Road, (A307) Portsmouth Road, (A245) Between Streets, and Oakdene Road; and (2b) (D6884) Oakdene Road, Between Streets, and (A307) Portsmouth Road. This Order is required to facilitate mains water replacement works for, or on behalf of SES Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 19 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 10 June 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to maintain vehicular access through the closure, and all vehicular traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
Water Lane (D6859) Cobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Water Lane (D6859) Cobham as extends from its junction with (X68726) The Stables to its junction with (X68301) The Laurels; and (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Water Lane (D6859) Cobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in Part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: Water Lane, Knipp Hill, Miles Lane, Fairmile Lane, and Water Lane, or this route in reverse. The Order is required to facilitate sewer connection works for, or on behalf of Nick Kenward Construction Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 15 days, between the hours of 7.30am and 4.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Tite Hill (D3131) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Tite Hill (D3131) Englefield Green as extends from its junction with (D7007) Middle Hill to its junction with (D3121) Kingswood Rise. Alternative Route: Tite Hill, (A30) Egham Hill, and Middle Hill, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate sewer cover replacement works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 7pm and 11pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 11 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
Wickham Lane (D3171) Egham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Wickham Lane (D3171) Egham. This Order is required to facilitate new drainage system works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible between the hours of 9am and 5pm within 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 14 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only. Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to maintain vehicular access through the closure for residents while work is in place. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. There is no alternative route for this closure.
Guilford Road (A323) and Ash Hill Road (B3411) Ash Temporary Prohibition of Waiting Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting by vehicles, at any time, in the lengths of roads in the Schedule to this notice. The Temporary Traffic Order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public, and will commence on 3 June 2024 and continue for a period of 18 months. The temporary waiting restrictions will only apply when the relevant traffic signs are in place. Exemptions are provided in respect of the temporary waiting restrictions, such as to permit vehicles to wait in order to pick up and set down passengers or to load and unload goods; where necessary to carry out essential services and works or when used by local authorities in pursuance of statutory powers or duties and for furniture removals and Post Office vehicles; vehicles when waiting because the driver is required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the driver’s control; and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer.
Schedule
1. that length of Guilford Road (A323) Ash, on both sides of the carriageway, which extends from its junction with the circulatory carriageway comprised within the roundabout situated at or adjacent to the junctions of Guildford Road, Ash Hill Road and Stonehill Road for a distance of 82m in a north-easterly direction; 2. that length of Guilford Road (A323) Ash, on both sides of the carriageway, which extends from its junction with the circulatory carriageway comprised within the roundabout situated at or adjacent to the junctions of Guildford Road, Ash Hill Road and Stonehill Road for a distance of 86m in a south-westerly direction; 3. that length of Ash Hill Road (B3411) Ash, on both sides of the carriageway, which extends from its junction with the circulatory carriageway comprised within the roundabout situated at or adjacent to the junctions of Guildford Road, Ash Hill Road and Stonehill Road for a distance of 77m in a northerly direction.
4. that length of Stonehill Road, Ash, on both sides of the carriageway, which extends from its roundabout junction with Guildford Road for a distance of 14m in a southerly direction.

Public Footpath 64 (Elstead) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2014
The Surrey County Council Public Footpath 64 (Elstead) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2014 was made on the grounds of public safety due to the adjacent riverbank having become undermined and unstable/having collapsed.
The Order came into operation on 8 December 2014. It was due to expire on 16 May 2015, but was extended to 16 May 2024. It has now been continued in force by the Secretary of State for Transport for a tenth time and will now expire on 16 May 2025 or until the danger has abated, if earlier.
The Order as continued prohibits all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along the length of Public Footpath 64 (Elstead) which extends from a point approximately 285m to the north of its junction with Farnham Road (B3001) (Grid ref 9059 4407) in a north-north westerly direction for approximately 45m.
The prohibition described above will only be in operation while the County Council, or an authorised person acting on its behalf, displays signs prohibiting the said movements. No access to properties will be affected by the temporary closure.
The alternative route for traffic from the southern end of the closure will be: Proceed along Public Footpath 64 in a southerly direction to reach its junction with Farnham Road (B3001). Turn right onto Farnham Road and proceed in a westerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath 65. Turn right onto Public Footpath 65 and proceed in a generally northerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath 64. Turn right (south) onto Public Footpath 64 and proceed in a southerly direction to reach the northern end of the closure.
The alternative route for traffic from the northern end of the closure will be the reverse of the route described above.
