(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Park Lane, Emley from a point outside Leys Farm to a point outside Dovecote Barn PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Park Lane, Leys Lane, Chapel Lane, Upper Lane, Ash Lane, Woodhouse Lane, Wakefield Road, Busker Lane, Commercial Road, Station Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 3rd June 2024 and remain in force until 7th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(NORRIDGE BOTTOM, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Norridge Bottom, Holmfirth from a point outside property no. 9 to a point to rear of 54 Huddersfield Road
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cross Lane, Stocksmoor from its junction with Stocks Moor Road to its junction with Station Road
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Newsome:-
Road Closure
Towngate - from its junction with Castle Avenue to its junction with Church Lane
Point Closure
St John’s Road - at its junction with Towngate
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Heath Road, Linthwaite from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Blackmoorfoot Road
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Taylor Lane, Scapegoat Hill from its junction with Old Lane to its junction with Pike Law Road

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hey Lane, Scammonden from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with New Hey Road
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Lidgett Lane, Skelmanthorpe at a point outside property no. 20 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(TEMPORARY REDUCTION OF SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed in excess of 40 mph in the following lengths of road in Clayton West:-
Wakefield Road - from its junction with Woodhouse Lane to a point adjacent 40mph speed limit sign near Kiln Lane
Litherop Lane - from its junction with Wakefield Road to a point near bridge over River Dearne
Access to Sewage Works/Clayton Hall Farm - from Wakefield Road to Sewage Treatment Works.
It is intended that the restriction will commence on Friday, 24th May 2024 and remain in force until 1st November 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LONGROYD LANE, LONGROYD BRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a westerly direction in that length of Longroyd Lane from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Paddock Foot (traffic in an easterly direction only).
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-
Diversion 1 - Manchester Road, Outcote Bank, Bow Street, Castlegate, Trinity Street, Gledholt Road, Heaton Road, Church Street, Market Street;
Diversion 2 - Manchester Road, St Thomas’ Road, Folly Hall, Chapel Hill, Castlegate, Trinity Street, Gledholt Road, Heaton Road, Church Street, Market Street.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 20th May 2024 and remain in force until 12th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(SCAR LANE, MILNSBRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Scar Lane, Milnsbridge from a point outside property no. 150 to a point outside property no. 160
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-
Diversion 1 - via Scar Lane, Knowl Road, Church Street, Town End, Leymoor Road, Benn Lane, Grove Street, Dale Street, Market Street;
Diversion 2 - via Scar Lane, Crow Lane, Savile Street, Market Street, Dale Street, Grove Street, Benn Lane, Leymoor Road, Town End, Church Street, Knowl Road.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Wednesday, 22nd May 2024 between 19:00 - 23:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
