U646n Brewery Street - Temporary Traffic Regulation Order To Facilitate Cctv Survey Of Scottish Water Manholes

What is happening?

(U646N BREWERY STREET) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U646n Brewery Street, Dumfries, from No. 2 to Friars Vennel from 27/05/24 to 28/05/24 (09:30 to 15:30 daily). The closure is necessary to facilitate CCTV survey of Scottish Water manholes. Alternative route available via Friars Vennel and Whitesands. Emergency access will not be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(A781 WHITESANDS) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily suspend parking at A781 Whitesands – Main Carpark (full length) & between No.36 and No.64 (both sides) from 27/05/24 to 07/06/24 (and only when indicated by display of signs appropriate under the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016). The parking suspension is necessary to facilitate CCTV survey of Scottish Water manholes.

(U111N CRAIGS ROAD (EAST)) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U111n Craigs Road, Dumfries between Gillbrae Road and U110n junction from 0700 on 27/05/24 to 2359 on 31/05/24. The closure is necessary to facilitate street light connection works. Alternative route available via Gillbrae Road, Calside Road, Georgetown Road, U110n and vice versa. Emergency access will not be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U778N HOWGATE STREET) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U778n Howgate Street, Dumfries from 0800 on 30/05/23 to 1700 on 07/06/24. The closure is necessary to facilitate blockage clearing in the carriageway. Alternative route available via Rosemount Street, Hill Street, Maxwell Street and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(DUMFRIES GUID NYCHBURRIS FESTIVAL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close roads around Dumfries to accommodate Guid Nychburris ride out events between 17/5/24 and 15/6/24. Drivers should expect minor delays for the duration of these events. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Full details are available on www.dumgal.gov.uk or www.TellMeScotland.gov.uk
