What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(PROHIBITION OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES OVER 7.5 TONNES)
(VARIOUS PARISHES) (SOUTHERN DIVISION) ORDER 1990 (AMENDMENT 32) (REVOCATION OF PART) (BITTESBY WAY, LUTTERWORTH) ORDER 2024 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in compliance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be:

1. To revoke the existing 7.5 tonnes weight restriction on Bittesby Way, Lutterworth from its junction with the A5 to the roundabout junction with Mere Lane, Argosy Way and Westland Way including the circulatory carriageway.

The Order will come into force on the twentieth day of May 2024.

A copy of the Order and the relevant map is available for public inspection at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA. 
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
