Woodhart Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?

(WOODHART LANE, ECCLESTON, CHORLEY BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Order.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of Woodhart Lane, Eccleston from its junction with Bannister Lane for 75 metres in a north easterly direction.
2. Nothing in this Order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative daily from 0800 hours to 1800 hours on Monday 20th May until Wednesday 22nd May 2024 or until completion of the works within this period. Access to be maintained wherever and whenever possible.
4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:
Bannister Lane – Woodhart Lane – Vice Versa
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow duct installation works to be carried out by BT Openreach.
