ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

CREWE LANE, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable boundary box works in carriageway.

Order Commences: 24 May 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 24 May 2024.

Access & Diversion: Crewe Lane, Ashow Road, Leamington Road, Warwick Bypass, St Johns, Birches Lane, Glasshouse Lane and vice versa.

D7041 STONELEIGH ROAD, D7043 MILL END, D7027 FORGE ROAD & D7263 WOODMILL MEADOW, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Stoneleigh Road and Mill End – closed between Stoneleigh Avenue and Watling Road. Forge Road and Woodmill Meadow will be closed for a distance of 20m at their junctions with Mill End.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 09.00hrs-15.00hrs weekdays only, excluding Bank Holidays.

Order Commences: 20 May 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 30 May 2024.

Access & Diversion: Stoneleigh Road and Mill End – Stoneleigh Road, Albion Street, Upper Rosemary Hill, A452, A429, Common Lane and vice versa. There is no suitable diversion for Forge Road and Woodmill Meadow

KENILWORTH STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between properties number 26 and 7.

Reason for Order: To enable works to rebuild a hydrant chamber.

Order Commences: 20 May 2024 for 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 22 May 2024.

Access & Diversion: Regent Street, Regent Grove, Clarendon Street, Warwick Street (south to north) and Warwick Street, Park Street, Regent Street (north to south). Access to frontages will be maintained.

THE OLD GATED ROAD, CHESTERTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside Chesterton Manor.

Reason for Order: To enable pole replacement works.

Order Commences: 20 May 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 21 May 2024.

Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion, Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so.

WELSH ROAD, OFFCHURCH

Order Effect: Road closed between School Hill and Cross Lane.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works for boundary box installation.

Order Commences: 19 May 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 May 2024.

Access & Diversion: Welsh Road, Fosse Way, Hunningham Road, Rugby Road, Kenilworth Road, Windmill Hill, Offchurch Road, Cross Lane and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A452 BINSWOOD STREET AND CLARENDON SQUARE, D4367 TRINITY STREET, D4368 BEAUCHAMP AVENUE, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Binswood Street and Clarendon Square closed between Rugby Road/Lillington Avenue Roundabout, Trinity Street closed from its junction with Binswood Street to o/s Numbers 164/167, Beauchamp Avenue closed from its junction with the A452 to its junction with the Clarendon Square.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs weekdays only.

Order Commences: 6 June 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 June 2024.

Access & Diversion: A445, B4087 Kenilworth Road, Clarendon Road, Clarendon Avenue and vice versa.

BIRMINGHAM ROAD & SALTISFORD, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Detailed bridge examination works, closed 22.00hrs-06.00hrs.

Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 4 June 2024.

Access & Diversion: Saltisford, Northgate, Priory Road, The Butts, Castle Hill, Jury Street, High Street, West Street, Stratford Road, A46, Warwick Bypass, Sherbourne Hill, A46, Birmingham Road and vice versa.

D4541 QUEEN STREET & D4543 HIGH STREET, CUBBINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed between Offchurch Road/Windmill Hill and New Street/Church Lane. Reason for Order: Carriageway and footway resurfacing works, closed 09.00hrs-15.30hrs, weekdays only.

Order Commences: 3 June 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 10 June 2024.

Access & Diversion: Windmill Hill, Rugby Road, Church Lane and vice versa. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only.

TACHBROOK ROAD/OAKLEY WOOD ROAD/HARBURY LANE, BISHOPS TACHBROOK, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic at their junctions – crossroads.

Reason for Order: To enable carriageway surfacing works.

Please note: Works will be carried out overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs on 3 consecutive Saturdays (1-2 June, 8-9 June, 15-16 June).

Order Commences: 1 June 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 16 June 2024.

Access & Diversion: Via Oakley Wood Road, Banbury Road, Fosse Way, Southam Road, Radford Road, High Street, Tachbrook Road, and vice versa.

Via Harbury Lane, Europa Way, Old Warwick Road, Tachbrook Road, and vice versa.

Via Harbury Lane, Europa Way, Old Warwick Road, High Street, Radford Road, Southam Road, Fosse Way, Harbury Lane, and vice versa.

Via Harbury Lane, Europa Way, Old Warwick Road, High Street, Radford Road, Southam Road, Fosse Way, Banbury Road, Oakley Wood Road, and vice versa.

Access will be maintained to adjacent properties and to emergency services only from Church Hill to Othello Avenue and from Fosse Way to Earl Rivers Avenue.

WESTHAM LANE, BARFORD

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to install chamber and ducting in verge.

Order Commences: 7 June 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 11 June 2024.

Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Access to frontages only.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
