(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of

Closure 1: B4497 Icknield Street Drive (Northbound Roundabout) from its junction with B4497 Washford Drive Roundabout for a distance of 100 metres in a northerly direction.

Closure 2: B4497 Icknield Street Drive (Southbound Roundabout) from its junction with B4497 Washford Drive Roundabout for a distance of 70 metres in a southerly direction.

Closure 3: C2123 Washford Drive from its junction with B4497 Washford Drive Roundabout to its junction with U33210 Pipers Road.

Closure 4: C2123 Claybrook Drive from its junction with B4497 Washford Drive Roundabout to its junction with U33000 Heming Road.

Closure 5: B4497 Washford Drive Roundabout for the whole of the roundabout.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route:

Diversion 1 (Closure 1 & 2): B4497 Icknield Street Drive, A4189 Warwick Highway into Warwickshire, B4497 Icknield Street Drive and vice versa.

Diversion 2 (Closure 3 & 4): C2123 Claybrook Drive, A4189 Warwick Highway, A4189 Warwick Highway (Westbound), C2101 Westbound Exit Slip Road from A4189 C2101 Old Forge Drive, C2123 Washford Drive and vice versa.

Diversion 3 (Closure 2 & 3): B4497 Icknield Street Drive, A435 Birmingham Road, B4093 Redditch Road into Warwickshire, C2123 Washford Drive and vice versa.

Diversion 4 (Closure 2 & 4): C2123 Claybrook Drive, A4189 Warwick Highway into Warwickshire, B4497 Icknield Street Drive and vice versa.

Diversion 5 (Closure 1 & 4): B4497 Icknield Street Drive, A4189 Warwick Highway, C2123 Claybrook Drive and vice versa.

Diversion 6 (Closure 1 & 3): B4497 Icknield Street Drive, A4189 Warwick Highway (Westbound), C2101 Westbound Exit Slip Road from A4189, C2101 Old Forge Drive, C2123 Washford Drive and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00-06:00). Commencing: 12 June 2024.

(B4184 Middlehouse Lane, Redditch)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4184 Middlehouse Lane from its junction with U31200 Birmingham Road to its junction with A441 Alvechurch Highway Riverside Roundabout.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A441 Alvechurch Highway Riverside Roundabout, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A448 Bromsgrove Highway, B4184 Birchfield Road, B4184 Brockhill Drive, B4184 Hewell Road, B4184 Windsor Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 10 June 2024.

(U30004 Brookhouse Lane, Callow Hill)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U30004 Brookhouse Lane from its junction with C2079 Sillins Lane to its junction with U30001 Ham Green Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching for resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken

Alternative route: U30001 Ham Green Lane, C2079 Sillins Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 12 June 2024 and 25 June 2024.

(C2242 Ravensbank Drive/B4497 Paper Mill Drive, Redditch)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of

Closure 1: C2242 Ravensbank Drive from its junction with U32126 Thornhill Road to its junction with B4497 Paper Mill Bank.

Closure 2: B4497 Paper Mill Bank from its junction with C2242 Ravensbank Drive to its junction

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2242 Ravensbank Drive (part), A4023 Coventry Highway (Westbound), B4497 Paper Mill Drive (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 10 June 2024 and 21 June 2024.

(U23210 Ash Lane, Alvechurch

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U23210 Ash Lane from its junction with A441 Redditch Road to its junction with U23205 Stonehouse Lane.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U23205 Stonehouse Lane, U23204 Watery Lane, C2306 Lea End Lane, C2306 Wast Hills Lane, Redhill Road (Birmingham), Redditch Road (Birmingham), A441 Birmingham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 20 May 2024.

(U23207 The Rise, Alvechurch)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U23207 The Rise from its northerly junction with A441 Birmingham Road to its southerly junction with A441 Birmingham Road.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A441 Birmingham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 20 May 2024.

(Exit Slip Road off A441 Alvechurch Highway

(Southbound) onto A448 Warwick Highway

(Eastbound), Redditch)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of the Exit Slip Road onto A448 Warwick Highway from its junction with A441 Alvechurch Highway (southbound) to its junction with A448 Warwick Highway (eastbound)

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A441 Alvechurch Highway (Southbound), A448 Bromsgrove Highway Cloverleaf roundabout, A441 Southbound to A448 Westbound, A448 Bromsgrove Highway Cloverleaf roundabout, A448 Westbound to A441 Northbound, A448 Bromsgrove Highway Cloverleaf roundabout, A441 Northbound to A448 Eastbound, A448 Warwick Highway (Eastbound).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20.00-06.00) between 16 May 2024 and 4 June 2024.

(U23403 Batemans Lane, Hollywood)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U23403 Batemans Lane from its junction with C2036 Silver Street to its junction with U23402 Packhorse Lane.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U23402 Packhorse Lane, C2040 Middle Lane, C2036 Silver Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs except 23 June 2024 when removed to enable public event). Commencing: 10 June 2024.

Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2024

[Disabled Persons' Parking Space on Flax Close, Hollywood]

On 2 May 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to disabled persons' parking space on the following lengths and sides of roads in Hollywood: -

Flax Close From a point, 15m southeast, from its junction with The Innage, for a distance of 6.6m, in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 23 May 2024.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
