What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(B4447 THE POUND (PART), COOKHAM) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) 
ORDER 2024
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of the B4447 The Pound from its junction with Poundfield Lane eastward to eastern boundary of property known as “Teleport House”.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by 
the Order is via the B4447 Maidenhead Road, 
B4447 Cannondown Road, B4447 Switchback 
R o a d N o r t h , B 4 4 4 7 G a r d n e r R o a d , B4447 Cookham Road, A4 St Cloud Way and A4 Bridge Road, A4094 Ray Mead Road, A4094 Lower Cookham Road, A4094 Sutton Road, B4447 High Street and B4447 The Pound.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the highway, namely stopcock renewal and leak investigations, and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order will be in operation each 
night between 19.00 hours and 23.00 hours from Monday 3 June until Friday 7 June 2024.
