(CARRINGTON ROAD & CRAIGLEITH HILL AVENUE)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 – TEMP/24/72
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate water main repair works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on: (i) Carrington Rd, from its jnct with Crewe Rd Sth, north-eastwards to 66m south-west of the south-western kerbline of Fettes Ave; & (ii) Craigleith Hill Ave, from its jnct with Crewe Rd Sth, westwards to the west property boundary of No. 2; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on Carrington Rd, both sides, from its jnct with Crewe Rd Sth, northeastwards to 66m south-west of the south-western kerbline of Fettes Ave. Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described in (b). The alternative routes for vehicular traffic are via: (i) Carrington Rd – Fettes Ave, Comely Bank Rd & Crewe Rd Sth; & (ii) Craigleith Hill Ave – Crewe Rd Sth, Craigleith Rd, Craigleith Hill Cres & Craigleith Hill Gdns. The order shall have effect from 20/5/24 to 30/6/24.
