SECTION 14(1)

(Harewood Events 2024) (Temporary Traffic Management Measures) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (holding of events), Leeds City Council made an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:

SCHEDULE 1

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle between 00.01hrs on the first day of an event until 00.00hrs on the last day of that event, as listed below, to: 1. Travel at a speed in excess of 30MPH on: a) The A61 Harrogate Road

Harewood; from a point 250 metres south of its junction with A659 Harewood Avenue (the existing 30mph/un-restricted terminal point), in a southerly direction to a point 16 metres north east of its junction with Manor House Lane (the existing 30mph/un-restricted terminal point); or b) The A659 Arthington Lane and Otley Road; from Grange Farm in Arthington Village to the junction with A61 Harrogate Road and on the whole length of Weardley Lane; 2. Turn right to enter the event site, via the green gate situated approximately 500 metres south of A659 Harewood Avenue from A61 Harrogate Road. 3. Turn right from Church Lane onto the A61 Harrogate Road when exiting the event site. 4. Turn right to enter the event site via the main archway situated at the A61 Harrogate Road/A659 Harewood Avenue junction. SCHEDULE 2

No person shall cause any vehicle to stop on Harewood Avenue from Harrogate Road for 300m in an easterly direction, Church Lane, Spring Gardens, The Square and Bondgate, between 00.00hrs and 23.59hrs on any event day listed below, PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the relevant event or by arrangement with the organisers.

EVENTS

Schedules 1 & 2 of the Order are intended to come into operation as necessary for the following events on the dates specified: a) Great British Food Festival: Saturday 25th – Monday 27th May 2024, inclusive b) Classic & Performance Motor Show: Sunday 9th June 2024 c) Inflatable 5k: Saturday 29th June 2024 d) Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club, North of England Rally: Sunday 4th August 2024 e) Leeds Championship Dog Show: Friday 26th - Sunday 28th July 2024, inclusive f) VW Festival: Friday 9th - Sunday 11th August 2024, inclusive g) Dog Fest: Saturday 7th - Sunday 8th September 2024, inclusive Mr N Gardiner.

(Back Barden Place, Armley, Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road Closure required for maintenance work) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Back Barden Place, Armley, Leeds in the Armley Ward between its junctions with Whingate Road and Conference Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Whingate Road, Alliance Street, Conference Road and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 30th May 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Wordsworth Drive, Oulton, Leeds)

 (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Yorkshire water public sewer diversion works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Wordsworth Drive, Oulton, Leeds in the Rothwell Ward between its junctions with Oulton Drive and Sugar Hill Close.

A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Wordsworth Drive

Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.

The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 20th May 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 31st May 2024. The closure will be in place between 07:30 and 15:00 hrs on each day. G Pugh. Ref: RC306623

(Cross Lane, Upper Wortley, Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways Road closure required for Northern Power Grid works Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Cross Lane, Upper Wortley, Leeds in the Farnley & Wortley Ward between its junctions with Tong Road and Upper Wortley Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Tong Road, Upper Wortley Road and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 23rd May 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Thursday 3rd June 2024. The closure will be in place 24hr daily. M Green. Ref: RC303729.

(Byron Street, Sheepscar, Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Construction of new footway and cycleway junction kerbs works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Byron Street, Sheepscar, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward for 10m with its junction with Regent Street. Parking on Byron Street between its junctions with Bridge Street and Leylands Road. The reversal of the one way system on Bridge Street between its junctions with Byron Street to Melbourne Street. The suspension of the one way system on Byron Street between its junctions with Bridge Street and Regent Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Southbound diversion- Regent Street, Eastgate, Bridge Street. Traffic coming from New York Road- Regent Street, Gower Street, Bridge Street. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 27th May 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 31st May 2024. The closure will be in place between 08:00 and 17:00 hrs on each day. A Coultate. Ref: RC306823.

(Gateland Lane, Shadwell, Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road Closure required for cabling works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Gateland Lane, Shadwell, Leeds in the Harewood Ward between its junctions with Winn Moor Lane and Main Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Main Street, Hobberley Lane, Winn Moor Lane and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Sunday 9th June 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 23rd June 2024. The closure will be in place between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs on each day. G Moate. Ref: RC306568.

The Council of the City of Leeds has made the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (BRIDLEWAY NO.99, AIREBOROUGH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order closes to pedestrians, equestrians and other users the length of Bridleway specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The diversion route is also specified below. The closure is necessary due to the danger to the public from a collapsed culvert. The Order comes into operation on 17 May 2024 and will continue in effect until 29 October 2024 (subject to extension), or such shorter period as may be necessary to remove the danger to the public. The diversion route is available via Cragg Wood Drive and

Woodlands Drive east of Bridleway no.99, and vice versa
