What is happening?

Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation

Notice is hereby given that the Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council proposes to make the following Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH (NORTON ROAD, PELSALL) (30mph SPEED LIMIT) ORDER, 2024

Restrictions under the Order

Prohibition of driving at a speed in excess of 30 miles per hour on Norton Road (B4154) from a point 232 metres north of its junction with Moat Farm Way in a northerly direction for a distance of 280 metres.

Revocations

The existing 40mph maximum speed limit applicable to this section of Norton Road.

Full details of these proposals are contained in the Draft Order and plan which shows the road subject to the Order and the extent and details of the controls proposed. This Order and the plan along with a Statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined by appointment at The Civic Centre, Darwall Street, WALSALL, during normal office hours

Objections

Formal objections to the Order should be sent, with the grounds for making them, in writing (quoting ref: GW/2655/5542) to the Permanent and Temporary Traffic Management Team Civic Centre, Darwall Street, Walsall, WS1 1DG or to the email address tro@walsall. gov.uk by no later than 6th June 2024.
