Walsall - Various Temporary Road Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 – SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER No.1 MAY 2024

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles proceeding in that length of:

• CHAPEL LANE that is situated from its junction with Coronation Road to its junction with Crook Lane. (Friday 24 May 2024 to Friday 12 July 2024).

• COLLINGWOOD DRIVE that is situated from its junction with A4041 Queslett Road to its junction with Tynedale Crescent. (Saturday 25 May 2024 to Sunday 2 June 2024).

• HILLINGFORD AVENUE that is situated from its junction with Collingwood Drive to its junction with Raeburn Road. (Sunday 9 June 2024 to Sunday 28 July 2024) (Sunday’s only) (0700 – 1159).

• MORLAND ROAD that is situated from its junction with Collingwood Drive to its junction with Raeburn Road. (Monday 1 July 2024 to Friday 12 July 2024).

• TYNEDALE CRESCENT that is situated from its junction with Collingwood Drive to its junction with Leighton Close. (Monday 1 July 2024 to Friday 12 July 2024).

• COLLINGWOOD DRIVE that is situated from its junction with B4154 Beacon Road to its junction with Morland Road. (Monday 22 July 2024 to Wednesday 31 July 2024).

• OLD HALL LANE that is situated from its junction with B4154 Beacon Road to its junction with Pinfold Lane. (Monday 12 August 2024 to Sunday 1 September 2024).

• PINFOLD LANE that is situated from its junction with Old Hall Lane to its junction with Crook Lane. (Monday 26 August 2024 to Sunday 1 September 2024).

Reason for Order: Cabling works in carriageway.

Works on behalf of: National Grid.

This Order will come into operation on Friday 24 May 2024. It is anticipated that the work will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is the earlier.
