What is happening?

Temporary Orders
The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)


The County of Cornwall (Stoke Hill and Stoke Road, Callington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Callington. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th May 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Stoke Road, Callington between the junction of South Coombeshed Lane and property known as Alren Farm and Stoke Hill, Callington between the junctions of Stoke Road and Pound Lane.

The County of Cornwall (The Coombes, Polperro) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Polperro. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th June 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1700, weekdays only.

Road affected - The Coombes, Polperro between the junction of Langreek Road and the Claremont Hotel.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Junction Near Tregarrick Mill To Summer Lane, Pelynt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Pelynt. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from llth June 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1700, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Junction Near Tregarrick Mill To Summer Lane, Pelynt between property known as Outways Cottage and the junction of Summer Lane.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Parking Area Near Hendersick Farm To Portlooe, Road From West Looe Hill To Junction South West Of Portlooe and Road From Junction East Of Waylands To Portlooe, West Looe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in West Looe. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th June 2024 to 17th June 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Road From Parking Area Near Hendersick Farm To Portlooe, Portlooe between properties known as Lowenna and The Bungalow At Higher Portlooe, Road From West Looe Hill To Junction South West Of Portlooe, West Looe between properties known as The Bungalow At Higher Portlooe and Colts Bungalow and Road From Junction East Of Waylands To Portlooe, West Looe between grid reference SX 23905 52754 and property known as The Bungalow At Higher Portlooe.

The County of Cornwall (Windsor Place, Barn Street and Russell Street, Liskeard) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 13th May 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Liskeard. This prohibition is necessary for trial pit works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th May 2024 to 31st May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Windsor Place, Barn Street and Russell Street for their entire lengths, Liskeard.
