U3142 CEDAR GROVE FOOTWAY ALNWICK
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on that section of the U3142 Cedar Grove Footway Alnwick from the gable end of number 26 Cedar Grove heading in a northerly direction for a length of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd June 2024 until the 14th June 2024.
It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 3rd June 2024 until the 6th June 2024 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 14th June 2024.
The alternative route for pedestrian traffic will be via the rear of number 26 Cedar Grove to number 19 and then down the gable side of number 19 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to renew a boundary box in the footway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
