What is happening?
SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL
(EARL MARSHAL) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Section 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the whole or on parts of Barretta Street, Birchlands Drive, Birchlands View, Bland Street, Botham Street, Carlisle Road, Carlisle Street East (industrial cul-de-sac), Carwood Close, Carwood Green, Carwood Grove, Carwood Road, Chambers Lane, Cyclops Street, Earl Marshal Road, Fieldhouse Way, Garter Road, Garter Street, Grimesthorpe Road, Heathcote Street, Hinde House Lane, Hunsley Street, Margate Drive, Margate Street, Owler Lane, Petre Drive, Petre Street, Rushby Street, Ruthin Street, Selby Road, Skinnerthorpe Road, Torbay Road, Upwell Hill, Upwell Lane, Whiteways Close, Whiteways Drive, Whiteways Grove, Whiteways Road and Wood Spring Court.
A copy of the proposed Order, a plan showing the roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH or on the City Council Website at
www.sheffield.gov.uk/home/roads-pavements/traffic-orders.
Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Order, including the grounds for your objection, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by the 13 June 2024.
