NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION
ACT 1984 – Victoria Road, Macclesfield

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of trafficVictoria Road, Macclesfield – For the full extent.

The alternative route will be via Prestbury Road, Cumberland Street Roundabout, Cumberland Street, Cumberland Street Roundabout, Chester Road, Ivy Road Roundabout, Chester Road, Broken Cross, Broken Cross Roundabout, Fallibroome Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 3 June 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 9 July 2024.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – The Silk Road, Prestbury – For the full extent.

This order will come into operation on Friday 3 June 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 30 August 2024.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Priory Lane, Prestbury

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Priory Lane, Prestbury – From Becks Lane to Churchway.

The alternative route will be via Priory Lane, Prestbury Road, Kennedy Avenue, Priory Lane and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Saturday 10 August 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 2 September 2024.
