TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER FOR PLANNED INFRASTRUCTURE RENEWAL WORKS
AFFECTING VARIOUS ROADS IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING EALING COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PARKING & MOVING TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) (VARIOUS ROAD, EALING) ORDER 2024

1. Ealing Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to:-
(a) suspend all existing parking places;
(b) prohibit the waiting and loading of vehicles;
(c) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding, on the lengths of road specified in Schedule to this Order, at such times and extent when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed.

2. The Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on Monday, 20 May 2024, and is required to facilitate infrastructure renewal including resurfacing works to be undertaken safely on roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. The maximum duration of the Order will be 18 months or until the said works are completed.

4. Diversions for vehicles will be sign posted on site.

5. Exemptions will be provided for:-
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
