What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
BRECKSTREET LANE, SEATON ROSS
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along
Breckstreet Lane, Seaton Ross during the following
period:
Monday 3 June 2024 until Friday 7 June 2024.
The road closure is necessary to enable the installation
of new passing places and verge improvement works to
be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the
safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months,
but it is anticipated that the works will be completed
within five days. The alternative route for traffic
affected by the road closure will be via:
Mill Lane, North End, Church Lane, Old Chapel Access
Road, South End, Southfield Lane, road from Foss Dyke
to Major Bridge, Main Road, Laytham Road and Tanner
Lane. The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but access
will be maintained for emergency vehicles, pedestrians
and residents.
