What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(HIGH CATTON ROAD, STAMFORD BRIDGE,
LONG LANE AND LOFTHOUSE LANE,
LOW CATTON AND MAIN STREET,
HIGH CATTON) (TEMPORARY 40 MPH
SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed at a speed exceeding 40 mph
along the entire lengths of High Catton Road, Stamford
Bridge, Long Lane and Lofthouse Lane, Low Catton and
Main Street, High Catton.
The reason for the closure is to form part of the
traffic management for the Derwent Bridge, Stamford
Bridge road closure, to be carried out and completed
in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of
the public. It is anticipated that the works will be
completed by 2 August 2024.
The Order will commence 20 May 2024 and continue
in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or
until the works which it is proposed to carry out have
been completed, whichever is the earlier.
