THE LEICESTER (EVINGTON LANE SIDE STREETS) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to: Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Linden Drive between its junction with Evington Lane and a point 15 metres north thereof from 8.00am on Monday 20th May 2024 until 6.00pm on Monday 10th June 2024.
Diversion route: Evington Lane, Hawthorne Drive, Linden Drive.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Highway Road between its junctions with Evington Lane and with Bodnant Avenue from 8.00am on Monday 10th June 2024 until 6.00pm on Wednesday 26th June 2024.
Diversion route: Evington Lane, Wakerley Road, Romway Road.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Coplow Avenue between its junction with Evington Lane and a point 30 metres south thereof from 8.00am on Monday 17th June 2024 until 6.00pm on Wednesday 3rd July 2024.
Diversion route: Evington Lane, Wakerley Road, Romway Road.
This order is necessary to facilitate gas mains replacement works taking place and to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public.
This Order will come into effect on the 20th May 2024 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
