SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Murhill (Part), Winsley; from its junction with B3108 to its property known as Little Murhill House to enable Gigaclear to carry out ducting and associated works. Alternative route via Murhill (unaffected length) -C391 - B3108 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required for 24 hours a day until 07 June 2024. For further information please contact Avonline on 01179 531111. B) Trowbridge Road, Hilperton; from its roundabout junction with A361 to its roundabout junction with Devizes Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out footway widening and associated works. Alternative route via Church Street - Hill Street - Horse Road - Wyke Road - Elizabeth Way and vice versa. C) C157 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Green Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out installation of critical point onto main and run supply to verge with stop tap and associated works. Alternative routevia C157 (unaffected length) - B3353 -Dicketts Road - Lypiatt Road - Rough Street - C157 (unaffected length) and vice versa. E) C400 (Part), Melksham Way; from its roundabout junction with A365 to its junction with Fulmar Close to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Solid square symbols to be used to symbolise diversion route. Alternative route D) via A365 (unaffected length) - A361 - A350 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route E) via C400 (unaffected length) - A365 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 until 10 June 2024. F) Park Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Silver Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction to enable Beard Construction to carry out scaffolding works on Town Hall and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 weekdays only until 28 June 2024. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 for 2 days. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: H) C230 (Part), Bradford on Avon and Winsley; from its junction with Belcombe to Avoncliffe for a distance of approximately 1.4km in a north westerly direction to enable Gigaclear to carry out installation of ducting to provide fibre to properties and associated works. Alternative route via C230 (unaffected length) - Belcombe Road - Newtown - Masons Lane - Bath Road - Winsley Road - Bradford Road -Turleigh Hill and vice versa. I) Low Road (Part), Cheverell Parva; from its junction with B3098 to outside its property known as Fir Tree Cottage to enable Openreach to carry out restore service and associated works. Alternative route via Low Road (unaffected length) - C40 - B3098 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 May 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 for 5 days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all pedestrians, equestrians, non-motorised vehicles and motor propelled vehicles in the interests of public safety: B3109 (Part), South Wraxall; from its junction with C215 to its junction with Upper South Wraxall to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out drainage and associated works. Alternative route via B3109 (unaffected length) - A365 - A4 - A363 - B3105 - B3109 (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2024 and the closure will be required for 24 hours a day until 14 June 2024. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to: (a) Temporarily close to all vehicles: Castle Street (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Market Street to its junction with Fore Street. Fore Street (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Castle Street to its junction with Wicker Hill. Wicker Hill (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Fore Street to its junction with Hill Street. (b) to temporarily suspend the existing prohibition of left hand turn on Market Street, Trowbridge. (c) to temporarily suspend the existing southbound one-way and introduce a temporary northbound one-way on Manvers Street, Trowbridge; direction of travel from Fore Street to Church Street. (f) to temporarily suspend Loading only Mon - Sat 8am - 6pm and introduce a temporary No Waiting at Any Time and No Loading at Any Time restriction on: Fore Street, Trowbridge - South side; from a point approximately 4m west of its eastern boundary with No.12, Fore Street to its western boundary with No.11, Fore Street. (g) to temporarily suspend Loading only Mon - Sat 8am - 6pm and introduce a temporary Loading only at all times restriction on: Fore Street, Trowbridge - north side; from its eastern boundary with No.60, Fore Street for a distance of approximately 16m in a westerly direction. (h) to temporarily suspend No stopping except taxis and introduce a temporary No Waiting at Any Time and No Loading at Any Time restriction on: Castle Street, Trowbridge - west side; from a point approximately 6m south of its northern boundary with No.3, Castle Street (Nationwide Building Society) for a distance of approximately 12m in a southerly direction. (i) to temporarily suspend Disabled Badge Holders only at all times 9am - 5pm, 2 hours No return within 2 hours and introduce a temporary Loading only at all times restriction on: Castle Street, Trowbridge - East side; between its northern and southern boundaries with No. 26, Castle Street. These Orders are made to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out public realm improvements and associated works whilst relieving or preventing congestion and allowing access for businesses. The closures and restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs or cones. These Orders will come into operation on 13 May 2024 and the closures and restrictions will be required 24 hours a day until 01 September 2024 It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Notice is hereby given that on 1 May 2024 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads in Neston/Moor Green in the Parish of Corsham) (Restricted Roads) Order 1996 and The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Corsham) (Restriction Roads) Order 2013A and re-enact them, in part, in the above Orders 2 and 3 and to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Neston, Corsham: Atworth Lane (C169) - from its junction with Brockleaze to a point 83 metres south west of that junction; Brockleaze (C157) - from its junction with Locks Cross/Chapel Lane to a point 128 metres east of its junction with Atworth Lane; Chapel Lane (C169) - from its junction with Locks Cross/Brockleaze to a point 230 metres south east of that junction; Church Rise (C37) including spur, Damy Green, Durley Park, Fleetwood Close, Greenhill, Leafield Road (C4), Locks Cross (C157), Moor Barton (C4), Moor Green (C4), Moor Park, Neston Crescent, Pitts Croft, Pool Green (C37), Sheppards, Spring Lane, Tawny Close - the complete lengths; Elley Green (C4) - from its junction with Pool Green/Leafield Road to a point 360 metres north east of that junction; Jaggards Lane - from its junction with Moor Green to a point 20 metres south of that junction; Upper Potley (C36) - from its junction with Spring Lane to a point 81 metres north east of that junction; Wadswick Lane (C157) - from its junction with Locks Cross/Church Rise to a point 190 metres south west of that junction; Westwells (C36) - the complete length including cul-de-sac off Westwells Road; Westwells Road (C4) - from its junction with Westwells to a point 140 metres west of that junction. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 17th May 2024.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (BYWAYS 21 AND 22, HILPERTON AND BYWAY 9A SEMINGTON) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) EXPERIMENTAL

ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council made the above-mentioned Experimental Order on 1 May 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act). The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months and during that time consideration will be given to introducing a permanent Order. The effect of the Experimental Order will be to introduce a Prohibition of Motor Vehicles (except for access) on the complete lengths of Byways 21 and 22, Hilperton and Byway 9A, Semington. A copy of the Order, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for making the Experimental Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours and details of the proposed scheme may also be seen at Trowbridge Library, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge between the hours of 9am - 7pm Monday and Thursday and 9am - 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Documents can also be viewed online at https://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/troconsultations Wiltshire Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely. Objections to the making of an Order for the purposes of such indefinite continuation should be made in writing to reach the Traffic Order Team, Sustainable Transport, by email to TrafficOrderConsultations@wiltshire.gov.uk or via the website at https://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/troconsultations stating the grounds on which they are made (quoting reference HKB/TRO/HILPExp): (a) within a period of six months beginning with the day on which the Experimental Order came into force; or (b) if that Order is varied by another Order or modified pursuant to section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, within a period of six months beginning on the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force. Any person aggrieved by the Experimental Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 20 May 2024.
