Blacklands Terrace - Road Closed To Vehicles For Crane Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES BLACKLANDS TERRACE
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR CRANE WORKS.
Blacklands Terrace, to be closed at the junction of King’s Road to the junction of Culford Gardens. To be closed from 08.00hrs on Wednesday 15th May 2024 until 18.00hrs on Thursday 16th May 2024. Diverted through traffic may use King’s Road, Anderson Street, Draycott Avenuee, Blacklands Terrace, or King’s Road, Cadogan Gardens, Draycott Place, Blacklands Terrace.
The One-way working of Blacklands Terrace, between King’s Road and Culford Gardens, is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
