ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14

AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

COBDEN ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas service on behalf of SGN they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Cobden Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Cobden Road will be closed between the common boundaries of Nos. 62 and 64 Cobden Road and Nos. 68 and 70 Cobden Road.

3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be via Portland Road, Enmore Road and vice versa, and via Enmore Road, Howard Road, Woodside Green, Portland Road and vice versa.

4. The order will come into operation on 13 May 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 24 May 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BEACONSFIELD ROAD, CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to repair a collapsed sewer, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Beaconsfield Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Beaconsfield Road will be closed outside Nos. 57 to 61 Beaconsfield Road.

3. During the closure the alternative routes for traffic will be via Whitehorse Road, Saxon Road, Dagnall Park, Selhurst Road and Northcote Road, or via Whitehorse Road, Northcote Road, Selhurst Road, Dagnall Park and Saxon Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 27 May 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 17 June 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

KENSINGTON AVENUE, THORNTON HEATH

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water service pipe works by Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Kensington Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Kensington Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Green Lane to No. 10 Kensington Avenue.

b) The north-western (even-numbered side) footway of Kensington Avenue will be closed from its junction with Green Lane to No. 10 Kensington Avenue.

3. During the works the alternative routes for diverted vehicular traffic will be via Norbury Avenue, London Road, Green Lane, Kensington Avenue and reversed, or via Green Lane, Parchmore Road, and reversed. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure will be directed to the opposite footway.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 28 May 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 31 May 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used to carry out the work.

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

MONTAGUE ROAD, CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works on behalf of Vodafone, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Montague Road, Croydon.

2. During the said works Montague Road will be made one-way south-westbound (from its junction with London Road towards Parsons Mead).

3. Whilst the restriction remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Montague Road, Parsons Mead, and Chatfield Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 28 May 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 31 May 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(b) any vehicle being used to carry out the said works.

SELSDON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works by SGN they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Selsdon Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Selsdon Road will be closed outside No. 270 Selsdon Road.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion routes for traffic will be via Addington Road, Rectory Park Road, Mitchley Avenue, Downs Court Road, Godstone Road, Brighton Road, South End and vice versa, or via Selsdon Park Road, Gravel Hill, Coombe Lane, Coombe Road, St Peters Road and vice versa, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 29 May 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. 5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

SEMLEY ROAD, NORBURY

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new electrical connection works on behalf of UKPN they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Semley Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Semley Road will be closed between its junctions with London Road and Semley Place.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion route for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.

• Via Semley Road, Bavant Road, Stanford Road, London Road/A23 & vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 28 May 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within eleven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

SYLVAN ROAD, UPPER NORWOOD

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate tree pruning works they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Sylvan Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Sylvan Road will be closed from a point 20 metres east of its junction with Kitley Gardens for 40 metres eastwards.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Auckland Road, Maberley Road and reversed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 28 May 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
