What is happening?

(Church Hill, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Hill, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 20m south east of its junction with The Pightle for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd June 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03163036772 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via B1053, A131, A1017, B1054, B1057 and vice versa (with access only into B1053).
The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Coggeshall Road, Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coggeshall Road, Feering in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 45m north west of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 25m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010753116 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via East Street, Colchester Road, Coggeshall Bypass, A120, A12 and vice versa (with access only into Coggeshall Road and Feering Road).
The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Potash Farm Road, Bradwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Potash Farm Road, Bradwell in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 350m south east of its junction with Compasses Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th June 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03062964685 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via A120, Bridge Hall Road, Water Lane, Back Lane, Greenstead Green Road, Tumblers Green and vice versa (with access only into Woodhouse Farm Road, Potash Farm Road, Hovells Farm Road).
The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bennett Way, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bennett Way, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 48m north east of the junction with Mortimer Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st May 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310746020/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
No alternative route is available for this closure.

(Brent Hall Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brent Hall Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Green Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WDNJ0D7K -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground structure works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Brent Hall Road, The Green, The Causeway, Duck End, Howe Street, Little London Hill, Cornish Hall End, Finchingfield Road, Chapel Street, Haverhill Road, North Street, Water Lane, Hempstead Road, Bumpstead Road, High Street, Anso Road, Moor End Road, High Street, Finchingfield Road, Hawkins Hill and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 325m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231010535 -Bellway Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signage and lining works are undertaken by Bellway Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Witham Road, The Green, Witham Road, The Street, Station Road, Witham Road, Mill Lane and vice versa (with access only into Bulford Mill Lane and Bulford Lane).
The Order came into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Queen Street, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 120m north west of its junction with Braintree Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310755136 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via A1017, A1124, A131, A134, A1092 and vice versa (with access only into A1017).

(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.7) 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on those lengths of road in the schedule for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restrictions will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 2nd May 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
